Yeah, there were a number of players that were not compelled to follow the dead rule (which I think is one of the most important rules of the game); you only came up in the example I used because you were involved.

Giving unhelpful advice is still giving advice and may influence a player's decision-making. I would put more of the blame here toward the actual player, though, because he would normally be the one to initiate conversation and ask you things regarding the game.

To me this more demonstrates that you feel you don't need to be in a mafia game in order to enjoy it. But I guess it's all a matter of perspective.

Azrael wasn't trying to make one side win or lose, whereas Inferno tried to tell a living player to do something for what he thought would have been a game-changer after he was already dead himself. I'd say let Azrael play if he wants to and have Inferno sit this one out.

Lmao Well it's true that spectating a game can be enjoyable in its own right. However, this is more about the fact that I have a limited amount of time in the first place, and the only reason I was willing to make the time commitment to participate was because this experimental setup is fairly interesting.

At the point the host starts creating a spectacle and leveling threats regarding my participation, the trouble is no longer worth it.

I never made a threat or decided to ban you; the complaints I received were of you attempting to influence the game even though you never signed up to play, which is a legitimate issue as that sort of behavior isn't in the spirit of mafia and makes the game less fair or enjoyable for people who have been following the rules. I dislike non-enforcement of rules, but I also don't like unconditionally banning somebody unless the offense was completely egregious; it was entirely up to the community whether or not you would be allowed to play in this round, although you voluntarily withdrew before people could voice their concerns.

That's okay. I'll cite the multiple rule violations you made during that game, and all previous games, in any future games I host as well.

Because we have a no fun and everyone's a winner policy around here.

I have no interest in teaching him a lesson, I just don't like playing or becoming involved with games/people who annoy me. Ignore the 'bully' and such.
