SEE: MOTO, MOTO2.

This map is an entry into Oh_Man's 'The 2012 RPG Event'. Middle of the Ocean 3 is a single player fantasy-adventure style RPG that features dark-swarm shooting mechanics as well as a variety of interesting spells that rely on dark swarm firing. Your homeland, in the middle of the ocean, is in distress. Are you the hero that everyone in the town needs?

I guess the neoEud actions are incompatible with whatever setup you have. I figured they would work on all windows setups. You aren't on a mac, are you? This sucks... I hope it isn't like this for too many people.

Edit: I'm working on uploading an eud-action free version for you.

An EUD-action free version?? How would that even work for your map?

Also another error, I tried to save and it crashed SC lol. So beware players, put sometime away so you can finish this map in one non-stop session.

Looks great so far, can't wait to play to completion. I very much like the atmosphere and how you used two separate terrain sections to make it seem like the interceptor collapsed the cave.
Also w00t respawn system! Of course that is a must if you are unable to save.

Without euds it wouldn't be a defiler that looks like a ghost it'd just be a defiler. Also, I didn't know you couldn't save this, but I think it should take anywhere between 45 min to 1.5 hours to finish playing.

Oh, derp. I'd patched my SC to a much older version to play ITAS and forgotten. With such a version of SC, extended units would do very different things from what they do in the current version. I patched to the current version and it works fine.

I played this map a few days ago and saw the ending. (It took me about 90 minutes to complete the map... Well, in fact, that wasn't my first playthrough. Before that, I played the map for like an hour and unconsciously tried to save the game... :P)

Nice map overall, I like the game system. The interface was convinient, and the game wasn't too difficult (well, at least, compared to my map.. :P). For example, revival (well, not exactly 'revival', to be technical, but anyways) system with penalty was one good feature of the map. If you were trying to make this map look like a real RPG, you did exactly what you wanted to do.

One thing I wasn't satisfied is that there are some exploitable glitches in the map. For example, I noticed that while I'm talking to somebody, I'm invincible. Also, In the graveyard, a dark templar is always spawned in the exact same location right after the previous one dies. So, I went to the graveyard, stood near to the location where the DTs spawn, and talked to the man nearby. Then I shot that location continuously. Every time I shot there, I was able to kill a DT, so I repeated it for like 200 times. I was able to get tons of experience through that, and my HP was already 1500 when my ammo nearly ran out. Seriously, this was too easy a way to gain exp.
Another example is that I can use blink in a weird way. When I'm on a boat (hell yeah!) I can see high ground. So, when I disembark from the boat, for a brief moment, I can see high ground, and when I blink to there, I can go to places where I'm not supposed to. This way, I figured out that there is a zone where firebats appear. I didn't actually go there in case I can't return to my boat. (Well, maybe this is intended and therefore not a glitch, but whether intended or not, it made the game look pretty weird.) Also, when fighting bosses, I could hide behind doors and become immune to most boss attacks. For example, in the final boss, I fled behind the door and all zerglings he summoned got stuck there. It got pretty easy then.

It was a good map anyways! Just that there were a few features that made the game a bit too easy...

I could see how blinking after having vision from the boat could be a problem. However, I did not think that killing the ghost in the graveyard gave any xp. I will have to double check that. Also, I assume you mean you could hind behind doors during boss battle by using the blink spell? If so, that is another glitch I will have to correct. Glad you liked it otherwise though, I appreciate people giving feedback and pointing out the glitches.

Same issue when I tried to play on today's version of Starcraft.
