We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

The itching goes away after a few days.

That's what she said.
If she's telling you that you might want to get tested...
I was searching for a reason to post in here.

I see a disturbing lack of the
face. Who are you, and what have you done with the payne we all knew and loved?
Hahaha I absolutely love the idea of living in the wilderness somewhere, that's one of those things that keeps nagging me in the back of my mind all the time. Of all the hardships one has to endure out there, being bitten by loads of little annoying bugs is just my worst nightmare.

This means you will have to study certain fields of interest such as farming/permaculture, hunting/trapping, gathering, carpentry, etc.
Unless you are staying for a long time, it's not really "living in the bush". And the amount of skills required to live in the bush is quite enormous when one comes from modern societies.
Slowly but surely, I have been learning quite many skills from those different fields. I might go squat some Crown Land in a few years.
Also, bugs are the most annoying things on Earth when they're there 24/7. When I was tree planting, the swarm of bugs was so enormous you could hear it coming at you from where you were planting your last tree. Uggghhh, that sound.
But Nature definitely is a beautiful and peaceful place of freedom. I love it.
