Wing, submit your role. I posted a screenshot of my role PM about 20 seconds after logging in yesterday, as seen in the difference between my system time and the time I posted. I had all the tabs ready to go, also seen in the screenshot. Furthermore, even if I had the ungodly ability to fabricate a screenshot in a few seconds, I had no means of knowing the exact formatting of a Townsman role PM.

Of course, since that was all fairly self-evident, it didn't really require explanation in the first place.

The fact that your knee-jerk reaction to a confirmed Town hub was to try to undermine them doesn't make you look very good. You might claim you were joking, but at the same time, you didn't submit your role, so you're still acting against the Town's best interests.

Last game, several people (including myself) trusted others much too easily, leading to the town's defeat. I would not trust anyone just yet, not even Azrael.

No clues in day posts, so all gameplay boils down to behavior analysis/asking for role PM screenshots.

Speaking of last game, it wasn't that you trusted others too easily, it was that you trusted others for too long. The fact the Mafia hadn't tried to kill Roy for the entire game should have been tipped the Town off. That shouldn't be a problem here, since you can see the roles of people who die, and thus will know if you're killing off Townies or not.

Anyways, it's literally impossible for me not to be a Townsman. I didn't have the time or the means to fake a screenshot, as opposed to raw text. Everyone can thank poison for my confirmed hub status.

I've received claims from 7 people thus far. I believe I've discovered a Mafia, as well. I can't be completely sure yet, but when the Vigilante contacts me, I'll tell them who it is and supply them with the incriminating information (which also gives away their supposed role). They can make the call about how to proceed.

In the meantime, I've supplied all the information to the second hub, so it won't be lost in the event of my death.

I'd appreciate it if Townies didn't attempt to undermine the Town's attempt to organize. There are a few people who have replied or viewed the thread that haven't responded via PM, and the fewer people who submit their PMs, the easier it is for Mafia to stay hidden. I'd say it's been about 3 people so far, and I doubt you're all Mafia. Come forward so we can expose the Mafia with as few casualties as possible.

Also, the only people who should be claiming Mafia are Mafia (it makes them look so innocent because Mafia would never do that ). It also gives the Mafia an excuse to try to get you lynched, for just that reason. Townies should just claim their real role via PM.

Edit: As previously stated, I've most likely found a Mafia already. If the Vigilante doesn't contact me tonight, I'll put said Mafia up for lynch tomorrow.

Two people have claimed Detective. One of them provided a screenshot.

The other one said "No, I'm not giving a screenshot or copying the text from my role PM, just believe me." Upon being informed of the role conflict, he said "I don't care if someone else claimed it, they are probably lying or something. I'm not giving anyone any proof of my role."

This person is InsolubleFluff.

Doctors, don't waste protection on him. The Vigilante will hopefully deal with him.

Either he or the other person is Mafia, putting him at 50% odds of being scum, not even considering his behavior.

If you're actually the Detective, then you're pretty bad. The first thing you did upon getting your role is publicly claim, and then spend 10 minutes in PMs telling the hub you won't confirm your role, instead of taking 10 seconds to confirm it?

The Mafia already know if you're lying or not, since you're either Detective or Mafia. The only reason a decent player would have to not provide their role PM after publicly claiming is if they don't have one to provide.

Therefore, you're either Mafia, or a terrible Townie that has made the worst decisions possible.

Scenario 1: I am mafia, they know I am lying, you do not know if I am lying, I get lynched, I die.
Scenario 2: I am mafia, they know I am lying, you do not know if I am lying, I do not get lynched, I live.
Scenario 3: I am not mafia, they do not know if I am lying, but they take my word and go for the kill, I die.
Scenario 4: I am not mafia, they do not know if I am lying, but they take my word and go for the kill, doctor saves me, I live.
Scenario 5: I am not mafia, they do not know if I am lying, but they take my word and stack to kill me, doctor tries to save me, I die.

You know if you're Mafia or not, and they won't find out anything by you confirming to just me.

Your odds of dying increase by refusing to confirm to the hub after claiming. It only hurts you not to confirm.
