I'd hire FaRTy as my assistant, as requested.
Would you also pay for the commute or perhaps moving expenses?

Can I just get an all-in-one? Cleans, cooks, does gardening? I just want to sit and do nothing. :P

:massimo: if he did that I'd go out and be his assistant. Uh, what would you need your assistant to do anyways?

Everyone shares the bank account.

It'd just take one jackass with a spending problem to ruin that situation :P
I think you do not understand how democracy works.
I don't see what that has to do with democracy. If you have a giant bank account that everyone has access to without limits, one person with a spending problem could burn through the entire account.
I think he meant everyone gets a say in what the money is spent on.

Payne has in the past proven to not have a good grasp on what different political terms mean. :P
He understood me.
I never said everyone would have access to the account whenever they wanted to. My "everyone shares the bank account" was definitely misleading, and I should have given more details, but this is posted in Null so...

It was a bad idea that barely fits the discussion in this thread. Besides, if "everyone shares the bank account" is misleading, I'm going to assume you mean you'll put in withdrawal limits, or deposit requirements, or pay back policies, which makes you the exact same as every bank in America (at the very least). And I have a hard time seeing what any of this has to do with democracy, except as perhaps a contact high from the free market. ;o ;o ;o

Hell no. And anyways, let's just forget about this. I for once do not feel like rambling for days just to prove my point.

So your either a socialist (communist), a pimp, or a bank.

Tbh its a interesting experiment except its been done with communism already. It simply doesn't work because of corruption.

And that's where anarchism comes in, but whatever. As mentioned, this is Null, and I do not want to talk about it here.

I guess it would be a bit frivolous to hire someone to punch Payne in the gut every so often. Alright then, I'd hire (corrupt) a senator or other relatively powerful individual in the government. Nothing like getting 100,000 times the representation of everyone else.

Well to your defense, my bf and I have always talked about if we get rich having a "guest house" (it sound so pretentious) with food and soda and games, and we'd give our friends key access to it so that as long as they respected the place they could always get in.

Sounds awesome!
My actual realistic idea that I would probably do is buy a house, and change it into a homeless/travelers shelter. Voluntary contributions to stay in, and depending on the amount of money left, I might serve free food as well. The house itself would be the property of its occupants, so if they want to draw on walls, they are free to do it. Or really just whatever. I will definitely encourage everyone to start a garden.

When hitch-hiking, I have had a few people leaving me their whole house with the key before leaving to work. It amazed me to see people capable of trusting so much after talking to a stranger only a few hours.
I definitely made a point to myself to not judge people, and I wish my father would let me invite homeless people in for the night. :(

That's only good or the rest of their term, though. I doubt people would re-elect someone involved in a scandal like that if they weren't impeached already. :P

Dec 4 2012, 10:14 pm rayNimagi Post #33

^Wealthy individuals, corporations, and labor unions do this already. No one would notice if anyone couple hundred thousand dollars made their way into a senator's pockets.

Win by luck, lose by skill.
