OK people I am hosting another big LAN at my dad's farm and as usual my friends play heaps of Starcraft UMS, our favourite is Raccoon City by Panzier Kavalier.

What maps do you recommend I show off to everyone at this new LAN? Bounds, AoS, Fighting maps, RPGs, you name it!

I've always been a big fan of defence maps; HGMA (alternatively Tar Pit Defense), Woohoo Tank Defense, Poker Defense and that random tower defence I can't remember the name of (did Ahli make something like that at some point?) are probably my favourites.

Play all of my maps! There's at least 40 of them if you include the bounds. I'd recommend Super Mario SC, Fireball, and Guard Your Civilian (which is apparently just like some mini-game in Mini-game Party). And my Dash/Jog maps if you're into scrollers. Strength Contest is also a good map to play if you're waiting for something else (it only takes like 1 minute to finish a game; it's based on a Kirby mini-game called Megaton Punch).

Speaking of Mini-game Party, that's a good game to play.

If you want to play bounds but are casuals, I recall spending a lot of time playing Monopoly Bound when I was a scrub.

There's also a game by KhaosKreator called Dungeon Depths, which is fun until you utterly give up (I usually do when fighting the dragon).

My Dash maps were inspired by Infinite Shift and The Pan (which I think was inspired by this flash animation by the same name), so if you like my maps, those may be worth checking out as well.

No he didn't.

What more are you looking for? You're generally asking for multiplayer maps. There are hundreds of bounds and defenses to choose from, supposing you want to go that route, too.

I was referring to Nydus Canal.

OK I'm looking for those on DLDB now.

Nydus canal is multiple maps? k.
Anyway, you can't go wrong with a decent arena map, I would say chw 5c. I'm sure there are better ones, but I like customizing your spells and stuff.

What are some good fighting maps like Elementa?
Or something like Particle Arena?

Something around those lines.

Just here for the pie

Tuxlar's Mafia would be especially fun to play if you could see other people's reactions.

The sword and the faith

You guys could play my RE: Raccoon City 1.44 and let me know how they like it compared to 1.09. :P

If you guys like really long Civ/Diplo type maps, Diplomacy: Empires is a great way to kill a lot of time.

Yeh Ex I did see that, I had a look at it have yet to play it with them, can you tell me exactly what features it boasts?

On my version I rigged for our LANs I did a couple of things:
1. Respawnable white reinforcements weren't attacking, I fixed that.
2. Some side quests were bugged, the tank behind Bob's Guns (the escort mission), the Sewer tunnel - getting to the end and getting the reward, and the "Communications Facility" on the north westish side of the map.
3. I added an additional ending, basically you either fled the scene in a dropship, which was the easy ending. Or you battled your way down into the... west side of the map and set a nuclear device to blow, THEN fled to the dropship.

At least that's what I can remember I did this fix ages ago and we've been playing off it ever since.

The sword and the faith

1.44 works but is a little easy or so people tell me. It has extra missions, guns, and all the text in the map from names to messages has been color coded and formatted. I also changed names of creatures, officers, and weapons to better reflect the RE universe.
