Greetings fellow current and former modders,
I recently started getting back into modding, tinkering here and there. I know a lot of you probably don't even have SC installed anymore, much less any tools or resources to make mods out of. However Id like to have a Post-Lantis Mod Revival. I'm not delusional however, I'm not expecting a giant uptake in modding activity and people posting projects that get completed and such. Even at Maplantis where we were thriving we didn't have that. What I'd like to do is around the holidays have another Mod Night Madness, complete with avatar fads, new mods, and lots of screenshots that lack context making them hilarious.

I've mass PM'd everyone I thought I should PM in regards to this, and I'm hoping some of you will post, even if its to say you're not interested. I miss a lot of you guys, and it'd be nice to get everyone together again, if only for one last night of glorious modness.

For anyone interested in participating in the event or in making content for the event, be that helping with someone elses project or making one of your own, please post below so I can see if I can even have a hope of making this happen.

You have no idea how good it is to see you Pol. Do you have a copy of PokeKraft lying around possibly? Perhaps we'll do another Pol+Ex super mod, or add Toss to DropMod?

I think I've seen AofST drop in periodically ... LordAgamemnon is on AIM sometimes.

Nice to see you again too. I looked all over my ancient Starcraft folder, but I couldn't find it. As for a new mod, it'd be a miracle if I could still remember how to use all the modding tools
But if you want to add a new race to dropmod, I'd be happy to supply you with graphics/sounds/anything else you might need.

I'm having trouble getting GRPs edited on Win7. You up for supplying me with a race worth of toss buildings? I was thinking we do some blue toss on DropMod, give them some cool infantry with any spare toss infantry gfx we can find, and just do blue recolors on them. We can just blue tint any stock GRPs we use. I know there was an alternate zealot grp that was popular with a lot of mods, and Syphon's terminator dragoon, the two of them in blue would fit perfectly. Perhaps a blue uncloaked Dark Templar as a spell caster or heavy infantry unit? I'm already thinking of using Tassadar's HT as a start unit. Shouldn't be too hard, I know you've done stuff like it before, I know you probably already have some blue buildings we can use too. I'll take care of dat and tbl, might need your help with IceCCing a couple things though.

My thinkings like this:
Probe - Gar-bot - Use Ermac's drone/spider mine thing, blue recolor it.
Tassadar HT - Knight - starting unit, low range. Blue recolor on stock gfx. Or is there an alternate HT gfx?
Zealot - Berzerker - little heavier duty, melee. Blue recolor on alternate zealot GRP.
Uncloaked DT - Priest - Heavy melee attack, high shield, low health, spell caster. Thinking of giving Maelstrom, Consume, and Dark Swarm. Might need some new GFX on some of the spells. Toss defiler type of unit, but can attack. Blue recolor stock DT grp.
Dragoon - Eliminator - Lighter, faster hitting. A toss vulture. Blue recolor stock grp.
Terminator GRP - Vindicator - Heavier Goliath type unit. Blue recolor.
Observer - Eye-bot - Same duties, maybe give it a spell. Blue recolor stock grp.
Shuttle - Crescent - Same duties, either blue recolor stock gfx or see if you have anything better for it.
Scout - Landshark - Make ground unit, tint blue, remove speed upgrade for it and make it an artillery unit. Toss tank sort of thing.
