Is it possible to detect the colour of pixels with EUDs?

Pixels where, exactly? The terrain? Minimap?
You can detect the pixels on the minimap, as someone brought to my attention recently (he posted about it
here). I don't have the addresses handy (I'm in the middle of reformatting my computer, so I don't have the ability to quickly find them either), but you could probably just use a memory scanner and pull them out.

Minimap would work, or pixels in the middle of the screen (terrain/units). I'll have a go at it later when I'm not so ill.
How does one turn off the minimap, as sinistrous was saying?

I believe last I checked, the actual map terrain data is outside the range of addresses we use for EUDs.
How does one turn off the minimap, as sinistrous was saying?
Toggle terrain (tab key).

Ah, I thought he meant turn the entire minimap black. Is it possible to detect units on the minimap rather than terrain?
Red classic.

You can't detect specific units on the minimap afaik. Only detect colors.
None.

Yeah, unit colours is what I mean. Roy was making it sound like you can only detect terrain colours on the minimap, which would work for what I want but not be ideal.

It will detect whatever colors you can see on your minimap. Terrain, units, buildings, and even the cursor.
None.
