steam and iron makes me think of steamboy vs moose; moose isn't playing though. Games and theory = two of the forums, SC1/2 theory, and Games. Zycorax is a mod of Games, so he toils there. I don't recall if he was ever a mod of any of the Theory forums though. However, that's not convincing enough for me yet.

Simply going by behavior, I vote for Raccoon.

Hmmm either some behind the scene stuff is going on without me knowing, or Hellfire somehow survives the weak-players-that-need-be-lynched-first list ;\ Anyway, might as well follow the crowd. I vote Raccoon.

For the record, I visited the profiles of every player in the game, to see which players profile Ex had visited, in hopes that his visitations might suggest which members were mafia and which weren't. IIRC ex visited about 14-15 profiles so too many to line up nicely with the mafia.

Yep. Go to their profile, view Forum tab.

I don't think Ex would write clues based on the last five members to visit someone's profile. Those lists get overwritten too easily. Ex would have to rewrite posts if someone visited while he was writing.

Knowing Raccoon, he would probably troll as town. The Devilesk is probably someone who isn't active, he and the mafia are keeping their heads down. It's so easy to hide underneath the screen of inactivity. In previous games, people who are active are scrutinized, and active mafia are quickly found based on behavioral clues. It's much easier to hide your facial expressions when you never show up to town meetings.

I say we should start lynching the people who do not vote or post in this thread. Those would be good choices to target with restraining powers as well.

I figured games and theory was referring to the forums of Games and SC1/SC2 UMS Theory and Ideas so this is a list of people who have posted in both those forums:



This is hardly meaningful as all it means is that they have at some point in their lives they have posted in these forums, so now I narrow it down to people who have relatively high activity in both forums; the criteria I'm going to use for relatively high activity is either both Games and either SC1/SC2Theory being in their top 10 most posted in forums or having over 50 posts in both forums. This narrowed it down to

Now Leon-037 has 1 post in each of those forums so I think it's safe to say he doesn't exactly "toil" in those forums. So I'm going to remove from that list so its just going to be

Now among those, I'm applying although mainly just the "By steam and iron I am resurrected" bit.
Going through the avatars/quotes none of them jump out to me as being overly mechanical/steam and iron related except for Devlin's, who's quote is about SW:TOR and has an avatar to match. This could be a reference to Darth Vader who was revived through a mechanical suit (and lots of steamy sounding sound effects when he breathes).
rayNimagi and TiKels' avatar's I don't really know much about so someone else with knowledge about their avatars might be able to do some analysis as well.
xAngelSpiritx has an observer. which could be seen as mechanical and therefore related to steam and iron.

Probably, you certainly wrote a lot trying to redirect the blame elsewhere. Your additional suggestion of ignoring all behavioral analysis and not killing anyone who's actively posting also seems like it's intended to undermine the Town.

Considering Ex's comments about inactivity, we can assume it isn't due to strategic merit that people aren't posting. If there are any Mafia among the list of inactives, it's entirely possible they aren't sending in night actions either. It's also impossible to differentiate between legit inactives and Mafia ones, so we'd simply be rolling the dice until we killed them all, while the active ones continue killing us off.

My suggestion is the opposite of yours, to instead focus on the behavior of active players and start killing the most suspicious ones.

First one being Raccoon.
