Have you tried blaming your ISP?

http://speedtest.net/
http://pingtest.net/

Or are you talking about hosting? If that's the case, a wired connection should have fixed it, and port forwarding for the wireless connection should fix it as well.

If you use a router, do your forward your ports?

You didn't answer this, so we have no idea if you mean hosting latency or ping.

Since you said "6 lat" it sounds like you have a very high ping when signing in, but that should not be the case with your ping results.

If you are talking about being unable to host and it tells others your latency is too high when they try to join your game, this is a port forwarding issue. Go to http://portforward.com/ and select your router, and then find StarCraft and it will give you step-by-step instructions on how to forward ports for the game. If you already know how to forward ports, then just forward port 6112 on your router for your IP.

Sadly I've done everything right(port forwarded, firewalls down, etc) and no one can still join. A bot tells me I have 15ms ping on login, so sad

What do you mean "can't do because i can't parase my ip address/gateway"? What does "can't parse" mean? They're just numbers, read them!

Unless you have a particularly fancy router (even I don't), to get port forwarding to work your PC on your internal home LAN needs some sort of static IP address, and you configure the port forwarding in the router to target that IP address. There are two ways to configure static IP address for these purposes:
1. Configure your PC to not obtain an IP address automatically (DHCP) and instead enter your IP, netmask and gateway manually inside Windows.
2. Configure your router to give your specific PC the same automatic IP address each time it connects, usually based on MAC address.

#1 would be configured on your PC, #2 would be configured on your router. I personally use #2, but there's no real difference between them.

If you want help with #1, do this: Start - type 'cmd' in the run box
tracert google.com

Paste your results here.

I said paste the results. As in, all of them.

Actually assuming you haven't given yourself a static IP yet, then post the results from ipconfig instead. Start - cmd - ipconfig

I have no idea what to put here... So I guess I'll just put this here.

I had trouble with this, but eventually i messed with the port forwarding enough to be able to never have lat... I think it was after setting up a static IP though so i don't have to change them ever again... Only way to get Minecraft servers to work, and Xbox, and Starcraft. Basically anything that requires internet

sorry im going to busy for a while I'm going to post the results later on sunday.

This is NOT a router problem, but just try forwarding ports 6112-6119 UDP+TCP, not just 6112.

Please state the brand and model of your modem.

Also tell me who is your ISP, ISPs may block port 6112 due to security issues.

Try changing the port that sc uses:
1) Open your registry editor “regedit”
2) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT\Starcraft
3) Right click and add a DWORD value, name it "Game Data Port" without the quotes
4) Check the radio button that has Decimal next to it
5) Enter in 6113
6) Click ok and close regedit
7) Host on SC
8) If failed, try ports 6114, 6115, 6116, 6117, 6118, or 6119. Make sure you try ALL of them!

Perform a tracert and post the results(http://us.battle.net/support/en/article/testing-your-internet-connection-trace-route)

If none of the above works, please post again for more suggestions.

Cool, a modem and router in 1 :D
Unfortunately that's a NAT router which Starcraft has a hard time supporting. Try reading these 2 links below:

Out of request, can you tell me the FCC-ID of the router?

1. type 192.168.1.1 on your browser
2. type username//password [It comes with the router, so find the paper with it on it]
Example: Username: Andrew Password: tree0096
3. Click Application & Gaming
4. click below the ones with a choice [The ones that you can type in]
5. type Battle.net into it, external port 6112, internal port 6112 Protocol = Both
6. Repeat above with Starcraft and port 6113
7. Go to START -> RUN type CMD, /ipconfig
8. so for the Ip Address it should look like this 192.168.1.*** the last digits could be anything but you type that into the Ip needed and make sure you hit check on the check box and hit save.

so it should look like this,

[Battle.Net] [6112] [6112] [Both] [192.168.1.107] [</]
[Starcraft] [6113] [6113] [Both] [192.168.1.107] [</]

The first link is about having 2 computers behind a NATting router playing together in the same games without "ip conflict" lag. Although it's not really a proper solution to it and although it might fix their SC issues, it could easily create other network issues.

The second link is mostly hocus pocus that changes a multitude of settings that have nothing to do with the problem at hand.
