I would suppose that Yuno won the game, and that Yukiteru had sacrificed himself to save Yuno in the previous iteration. This causes Yuno to fall in love with Yukiteru and thus she used her god of spacetime powers to return to before the game started. (The first two clips from Ep 1 may reflect events that occurred in previous iterations.)

The fact that the ED for episode 1 plays clips backwards until it reaches a point before Yukiteru receives his diary from Deus Ex Machina somewhat supports this as well, if it's a subtle hint thrown in by the studio.

This is most probably the most consistent theory we have.

Naw I watch the videos from beginning to end, sometimes they are pretty funny.

That last ep was kinda subpar, IMO. I hope the plot turns for the better soon.

Nigga, the plot is fine. You just don't look at it right, notice how they had to kill a kid? This is showing that they are seeing how real this survival game is, it's not all fun and games. In the end, Yuki came to the conclusion to help Yuno kill him and even risked his life to do it.

You were just watching and thought "Whatever, yeah yeah, cool. More plot."

There's too much filler crap in Ep 7 and not enough deep character development.

I sort of got that feeling too. My personal opinion is that if the entire "battle" with the 5th was taken out, the impact on the story would be negligible.

If anything it only made me hate yukkiteru more. Except the end. He's playing a dangerous game =<
