Thigh high affectionado

Honestly, I don't think poison is mafia. The clue, if it even is one is too bland.

But hey, this is mafia I spose. ___________________________________________________________________ Poison is innocent, trust me.

Quote from DevliN
In addition, I will pick three players at random each night. For each of those players, if they weren't originally going to be mentioned in the night post, they will be mentioned in the night post. For example, if a Crewmember is picked at random, but nobody targets the Crewmember for that night, there will still be information about the Crewmember character in the night post. This will help let you know what roles are still alive.
Quote from DevliN
Two men sat at the bar, not really interacting much. One kept eyeing the other, though. Clearly something's on his mind. "You're one of Baltar's lab guys, right?," he asked. It seemed like this was small talk compared to what he'd rather discuss.
"Yep. The lab coat gave it away, I assume?" They laughed and took sips from their glasses.
"So Baltar's machine. It does actually work, right?" It seemed like the man was finally getting to the point.
The lab technician looked ahead for a second, took another gulp of his drink, and finally turned to the other man. "Yeah, flawlessly." He turned back to the bar and continued to drink.
"I haven't seen you around this bar before. Actually I don't ever see many of you science guys here, but I guess tonight is special." He smiled at the man in the lab coat, but got no response. Before going back to his drink, he noticed a beautiful woman enter the bar area, someone else he'd never seen before. "What do you think about her?"
The lab technician looked at the woman and then back to his inquisitor. "She looks deadly. At least an 8."
Nothing happens to these two men. Lab technician, and a crewmember by my judgement. One of Baltar's guys would obviously be a Scientist, not a doctor or mortician if you watch the show, so I'm pretty confident that there is a scientist who was not seduced last night. This means either Roy is lying or there are multiple scientists, insofar as I can tell, based on both this and my prior analysis posted in the thread, and the red text above (sitting at a bar, not a table).

As for the third random in the post, best I can come up with is:
Quote from DevliN
A crewmember down the hall was startled by the sound of gunshots.
(This part is from voy's death). According to me, those are our 3 randoms, Scientist, crew and crew.

Quote from DevliN
"That's good, man, real good. I like that regular guys like us can take part. I mean, we gotta have a say in this stuff, too, right? None of the elites telling us what to do."
This is from Nude's killer, the drunk. Whoever killed nude has problems with authority, and judging by the amount of "omg u nubs shuldnt do elitist crap" kind of talk that goes on here on SEN, I believe this is a clue as to someone who typically supports anti-elitist positions in the various discussions across SEN.

Quote from DevliN
Cylon Mole - Each night, the Mole has the ability to either clear a fellow Cylon from investigation or frame a Crewmember. Clues will be suppressed for the targeted Cylon if cleared, or clues will be added against the targeted Crewmember if framed, but there is a chance that clues pointing toward the Mole may be present as well.
Clear: Clears the name of one person for that night and removes any evidence linking to him or her. May be used once per night, and only if Frame was not used in the same night.
Frame: Frames one person for that night. May be used once per night, and only if Clear was not used in the same night.
There were two murders last night, NudeRaider and Voy. NudeRaider's paragraph is much bigger and likely contains clues; Voy's paragraph is succinct and the Mole likely cleared whoever hit Voy.

Neither murder was the result of the vigilante.

We shouldn't forget about the random members, or the Mole's ability in our clue interpretations. Read the rules of the game people, they're the only constants we have to go on, and important ones at that.

There are at least 2 cylon hitmen. It looks like 1 seductress, 1 mole, 1 traitor. At least 5 cylons. It's possible that there could be a 3rd or 4th cylon hitman who was negated, so we're looking at 5 or 6 cylons.

I vote for Tikels to be lynched.

None.

The Mole is a combination of Lawyer and Framer from my game, so I wouldn't be surprised if there were two (I think someone else suggested this earlier in the thread as well).

From a behavioral standpoint, someone could have chosen Nude because they had some sort of dispute with him recently. The whole elitist thing could really be anyone from Excalibur's topic. The only person in this game that was outspoken against Nude's earlier posts in that topic was TiKels, which is why I assume you voted for him. However, there's hardly any time remaining, and starting a new bandwagon is probably not going to change the lynch outcome from being either Lingie or poison.

Back* from the grave

I'm breaking my pledge to not post in the thread, save voting.

First things first. The bandwagon on Lingie was stupid. Why try to lynch an inactive, rather than someone who is actively pushing against a power role? Second, I was not "acting stupid", thanks Jack. Third, can you idiots (namely Tempz) make up your mind? Swapping from me to abstain to Lingie to..FUCK, make up your mind (preferably not after you realize that abstaining may mean I can switch my vote and live), and post clue interpretations that aren't A) one line and B) the most abstract connection possible. Fourth, I never claimed to Jack. I claimed to someone else, who told Jack. Rai, if you're going to be a dumbass at least get the person I claimed to and time correct (I turned down Tempz's request to group up, then told someone else who I trusted. Somewhat.) Fifth, Aristo, when doing something based off of time, it would be wise to make sure the other party is aware of your bullshit. Not like I'd have claimed to you anyways, but still. Sixth, I always claim mafia at least once per game. Don't believe me? Look at the last game, where I claimed bomb initially (which I was dead serious about), and IIRC also claimed mafia at at least one point.

Congrats, you just lynched a doctor. Mortician can confirm, and I expect those responsible for pushing so hard against me to die.

22 members of the tribunal entered the meeting room to discuss possible identities of Cylon operatives within the fleet. The group ranged from the highly sane to the extremely paranoid, but those in command wanted to be sure it was a mixed variety of opinions.

President Roslin watched as the group fought over who they believed to be a Cylon. After much debate and votes going back and forth, a very split verdict came to be. It was clear how rabid the discussion was as some people were happy with their choice, some were outraged as they believed they were losing one of ther own, and some just didn't seem to care either way.

"poison_us, a majority believes you are a Cylon operative attempting to live among us," Roslin announced.

"This is ridiculous, I still have important work to do!" poison_us was clearly outraged by the claim, and gave his voters an extreme look of :disgust:. "This whole idea is dumb. You're making a huge mistake."

"That's enough," interrupted Roslin. "The tribunal has spoken."

poison_us was killed by a firing squad soon after. A fitting death for a Cylon, Roslin felt.

Night 2 begins now. Send your actions to me by Friday at 11:59 AM (Pacific Standard Time).
If need be, I can extend the deadline another 12 hours to fit the usual schedule, but I figured a 36-hour schedule might be easier for a couple rounds.

Just wanted to make this more clear. Because TiKels requested shorter cycles, I dropped it from 48 to 36 hours. if anyone wants that added time back, I will put it back to 48.

Sounds like Devlin's just describing the voters.

Split caught my attention here, although it could easily just be describing how there were two bandwagons. Zycorax's avatar background is clearly split diagonally.

Rabid: Having or proceeding from a fanatical belief in something.
This definition could be pointing to a number of things, but I think it could be connected to Observer's avatar of Brigham Young, who would fit this definition. Also, Jack has made a name for himself with strong religious beliefs.
Rabid is also a word to describe something infected with rabies. I don't see anyone who immediately relates to a dog, squirrel or raccoon playing, but ponies can get rabies too, Lingie and Riney.

A clue pointing towards... poison... It must have been a will thing poison told Devlin to put in.

Quote from DevliN
"That's enough," interrupted Roslin. "The tribunal has spoken."
This kinda sounds like a Survivor phrase when someone is voted off. The survivors from my game playing this game that are still alive are: xAngelSpiritx, Lingie, lil-Inferno, Wing Zero, OlimarandLouie, Norm. I guess it's probably not a clue with all those possibilities, unless there's something hidden in the post that would eliminate it down to a person based on their role or something from that game.

Or maybe someone can think of a more notable "The _________ has spoken" we could tie this to.

Quote from DevliN
poison_us was killed by a firing squad soon after. A fitting death for a Cylon, Roslin felt.
I was thinking about "hatch" as in the verb, rather than the noun. This could point to "Wing" Zero. It was changed.

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

- NIGHT 2 -

A man sat quietly at a table in the corner of the bar area, completely engrossed in his book.
"The Third Testament? How are you liking it?," asks a passerby. This passerby had been watching the man for some time this evening. He knew he would find him here, as the man was a regular.
"I'm really enjoying it, actually," he responds enthusiastically. "Are you religious?"
"No, no, not at all. Just curious," the man responds, chuckling. "Well I wont keep you any longer." He made his way to the exit where he would wait for the reader's departure.
No longer than an hour had gone by when the reader finally decided to call it a night. As he was walking down the hallway with the clamor of the bar fading behind him, he heard someone calling for him - a voice he recognized from earlier in the evening.
Given the recent level of paranoia on the ship, the man kept walking, faster now. His pursuer could be a Cylon. He immediately heard the sound of gunshots, and bolted down the hall. Moments later he reached his room, ran inside, and closed the door behind him. Was the man still out there? He couldn't hear any footsteps following him.
The man locked the door and slept just a little easier knowing he was able to evade that attack.

...

Two men stood guard at their post, but luckily not for much longer. Their shift was ending shortly, leaving plenty of time for much desired sleep.
"The military is going to control the world, I swear," says one man to the other.
"What makes you say that?," the other man responds, laughing.
"Well Adama is getting back on his feet, and it again looks as if he is going to coerce Roslin into letting him make all the major decisions."
The other man didn't seem to understand where all this was coming from. They were both veterans of the military, and he assumed they both felt the same duty as soldiers looking to survive. "I don't follow," he finally stated.
"Eh, don't worry about it. It wont matter much longer." The man pulled out a gun and shot the other a few times in the chest, before running out of sight.
The shot soldier dropped to the floor in pain. As he regained his breath, he pulled off his bulletproof vest and thanked the Gods he was still alive.

...

"Hey there," the attractive woman said to the man in uniform. "How about you buy me a drink?"
The man didn't know how to respond. Her beauty was stunning. "Alright," was the best he could muster.
"Good." She looked at the medals on his coat, and one in particular caught her eye. "That's a beautiful one. I have one just like it." He laughed as he wasn't sure how serious she was. She looked over his shoulder at someone else, slowly coming up behind the man. An instant later, the man felt a sharp pain in his back. A knife was lunged in quickly, but the assailant had already run out before anyone could spot him. The woman looked bewildered, playing innocent.
The stab victim was rushed to the medical bay where Dr. Cottle's top medical supervisor took charge.
"Luckily, the wound didn't damage anything serious and you will live, but I will need you to stay here for the night." The victim was relieved that he would live another day.

...

A scientist sat at his computer waiting for his latest test to complete. Only a few seconds were left. 3. 2. 1. The computer made a beeping noise as the scientist's eyes lit up. He was both horrified and relieved by his finding.

...

A man sat on his bunk, staring at his blank and barren wall. He found it difficult to sleep. The thought of the unknown Cylons running around at night was nerve-racking. Who were they? How many were left? Have all of them been activated? What if I am one? His mind was racing.

...

"Knock, knock!" The man jokingly exclaimed as he walked up to the mortican's room. They were friends, and he was dropping by to ask how the investigations were going. The doctor wasn't there. "Of course. He'd be in the morgue. How dumb."
A copy of the Rising Stars Compendium sat on the dimly lit desk, next to a notebook discussing E. Bowell and "Doressoundiram." Odd reading material for a mortician, the man thought. He looked at a photo of the great Battlestar Galactica ship on the doctor's wall before heading back to his own room, unsatisfied.
