Azrael.Wrath gathered what remained of the town, with some who opposed him in the crowd, for today's near unanimous decision for an execution. A giant pit was dug and after being beaten to the edge of consciousness, poison_us was thrown in it, and the remaining townspeople threw stones at him until poison_us, developer of one of mankind's greatest dreams, had his last breath. The time machine was later found in a not-so-well lit tunnel, but no one could figure out how to use it.

Oh, what the hell? I had classes until a half hour ago, and I didn't get a chance to check my PMs. You seriously need to announce your deadlines as soon as the day/night starts.

Not gonna lie, Inferno, the more I look at my death post, the more I like it. Nice way of emphasizing the primal nature of the town, as opposed to the obvious technological advancement of the time machine. Too bad the religious freaks would've got me as soon as I unleashed it upon the world, with a very similar death.

I don't think it would have made much of a difference anyway.

Well, 4 nights have passes, and here are some statistics:

Minimum number of people in Cult: 1 (Cult Leader is afk, didn't send invites, and/or the invitations were declined)
Maximum number of people in Cult: 6 (Cult Leader is the Mayor and sent an invite every night)
Estimated number of people in Cult: 4 (Cult Leader is not the Mayor and sent an invite every night, and every person has accepted)

This means that of the 10 remaining players, it is likely that there is a 4-to-6 ratio of Cult members to other players (including Mafia). If Azrael is Cult-aligned, their voting power is 6-to-6, even if the remaining Mafia votes with the town. If Azrael is not Cult-aligned, their voting power is 4-to-6 if the Mafia does not vote, 6-6 if the Mafia sides with them, and 4-8 if the Mafia votes with the town.

I would recommend to Azrael not to hit anyone tonight unless he knows for sure that they are the Cult Leader. Even killing the remaining Mafia at this point will hurt the town.

Of course, Azrael is probably already in the Cult, as that's who I would sent an invite to first if I was the Cult Leader, and his personality is one that would jump into the Cult when offered a chance. If this is the case, a townie is going to die tonight, and the town will lose.

I was talking to poison about pardoning him; I think that would have made significant difference in the outcome of the game (or at least how it progresses), especially while evaluating the circumstances right now.

Anyway, I still stand by my statement that you should release deadlines as soon as you put up the next game post.

No one will die tonight, don't worry. I want to lynch LoTu)S tomorrow if he's still AFK though, not any use to anyone as it stands. That, and he voted to lynch you last time, so I doubt he'll ally with Town regardless.

For the time being though, I can assure you there will be no deaths on this night.
