Well, at least 10 games so i can get the Kayle skin

A friend is trying to get me back into this, he thinks Ashe fits my playstyle.

Here's my current build:

Ashe with Teleport/Ghost:

Regrowth Pendent/HP Pot
Boots
Philosopher's Stone
Upgrade boots (+AS, Ninja, or Swift depending on opposing team comp)
BF Sword
Sherela's Reverie
Go from there as needed, upgrading BF sword into something.

I'm aware of the standard Infinity Blade/Phantom Dancer build but it sucks against tanks, in my opinion, and leaves you completely fucked when dealing with people who slow you on hit: you'll never get away. This is also why I pick up one of the +MS activatables. I was considering Ghostblade but the early Philosopher's Stone regeneration+Gold seems way too good to pass up. I'm also aware that Doran's Blade is the standard early game pickup, but I'd rather have 900 effortless HP regen in the first 5 minutes of the game, rather than an extra 100 base HP and maybe 100 more in lifesteal. I burn my first teleport to pick up Boots and the Philosopher's Stone as soon as possible, and since people are fucking terrible at last hitting it's usually before anyone expects it. Finally, I also considered starting with Vampiric Scepter and rushing a Hextech Gunblade to have silly burst, but the early 12% lifesteal is far weaker than expected during laning.


My friend plays as Twisted Fate and we crush with the near-global double stun combo. In other news, Flash is dumbest fucking spell in the history of every heroic game I've ever played- and I've played a fuckton of them. "Oh you fucked up incredibly badly? Here, have a free instant-cast escape." I think I might stick with Teleport/Ghost for the versatility and so I don't have admit to being fucking bad by using Flash. Weren't they getting rid of that shit like a year ago?

They were supposed to. You missed the good old days before the tournament when it was rare to see even 3 flashes on a team. Now you're a scrub if you don't bring that get out of jail free card, even on champions with 3 blinks like Akali. Because everyone in the tournament had it, so now every player also has to have it. It's like Singed free week where they think that by having the highest rated build on whatever site, they are automatically gonna win. It's hilarious how you can tell the free week Singeds from the real Singeds: Free = boots + 3 HP potions, Real = Mana crystal + both pots.

Have I ever told you guys how incredibly over powered Kog Maw is? I mean look at ashe caitlyn corki and vayne, then at Kog. Kog has a built in 6% mag damage (+AP) at level 5 of its ability. Then you look at vayne, woopdie fucking do 8% true damage + 60 after 3 consecutive shots, and having one of the worst ranges in the game for ranged champions, I fail to see how people even consider her.

Kog Maw has what I guess Ive been needing for a very long time. A fucking RANGE steroid.

kogmaw has zero escapability, and very limited cc.

ap kogmaw is best though.

and you gotta run flash because everyone else does.

Currently my favorite build on Kog'Maw is based first around attack speed and then survival with all attack speed runes, both attack speed masteries (so my masteries are 9-21-0), Berserker's Greaves, Wit's End, Malady, Madred's Bloodrazor, Frozen Mallet, and Hextech Gunblade. I vary the order depending on what I need at a particular point in the game. Once I have the greaves, malady, and at least the attack speed components of the others, I reach max attack speed at level 16, which does a lot for his Bio-Arcane Barrage. I try to get Bio-Arcane Barrage to level 5 as soon as possible (though I don't typically take it first).

Heh, I've also been trying out a build with the same runes and masteries and still getting Berserker's Greaves, but just stacking gunblades afterward - maybe adding a frozen mallet in there somewhere. It has actually been fairly effective as well and does have the advantage of adding additional damage to all of your abilities and potentially keeping you in the fight longer as long as you aren't instantly bursted down.

He murderers everything with relative ease, when other ranged AD have to worry about armor and damage, kog only needs attack speed. Wish the other ranged played like him D:

that's just the competitive meta-game. pros do it, so I just follow suite.
