instead of making numerous future threads, i'll just update this one with my latest and greatest pictures.
today i shot some action sequence shots of my friend at our local skate park.
None.
I think the brightness and saturation of the first pic is better, but the whole clipping-into-yourself kinda kills it.
Wanna tell us a bit more about your photography? Is it a casual hobby or something you plan to take over the world with?
EDIT: Just noticed the weirdness of the perspective on the first pic. Look at the size of him on the left compared to the right
Look at the size of him on the left compared to the right
It tells us about how he has grown as time goes by.
also that vignette effect is going to get old fast if you keep using it all the time

my camera is a nikon d60 w/ 18-55mm vr and a generic tripod
i bought the camera to take better pictures of mine and my friends car, plus for random stuff here and there.
i use adobe photoshop cs5 and adobe lightroom 3.4
uh, if you actually pay attention you can see how his board is turning towards the direction of my camera. things closer to the foreground appear larger.

i had lightroom set up with presets and i didn't change them for the latter picture. the lighting was more natural on the first one (i didn't edit anything besides cutting and pasting in photoshop and the vignette effect in lightroom)

i'm trying to get better shots, angle wise (i cropped it at an angle) and just in general. i'm open to whatever comments you guys have. i'm interested in photographing cars.
None.
i can't believe people still visit this site; but then again, wtf am i doing here but show boating? on a more serious note, i sold my nikon d60 and a vast assortment of lenses and bought a canon 60d w.18-135mm lens kit. fucking love the thing. anyways, here's what i shot earlier today:
shot at 135mm and a shit load of photoshop work. credits go to ME, MYSELF, and I. it was fairly nice here in ny and i decided to wash my baby. i wonder where i would be if i still was caught up in the starcraft game...
None.
If anyone is wondering why this latest photo looks strangely fake, here's why:
[12:23 pm] Brontobyte -- the angle of the car was weird. i had to hold the camera over my head to shoot it like that
[12:24 pm] Brontobyte -- i tried to get it as close to dead center as i could. long story short, i copied the drivers side of the car, pasted it over the passengers, did a bit of photoshopping the background, foreground, car, interior, license plate area, horse emblem,
to make it all look natural.
None.

if anyone is wondering why this guy is homosexual, this is why.
anyways, here's another:
oh and fyi, i shot the car almost dead center so i could specifically mirror one side of it on the other. i hit a deer some time ago and the fender was slightly dented so i figured photoshop could fix it.

I thought it had more to do with being sexually attracted to men, actually.
