Raynor realises that Kerrigan wasn't changed by the Zerg, she was always actually just evil and they let her see it. Then the Protoss hate him for not killing her when he had the chance, and bam set up for LotV.

In HOTS we just might control a Kerrigan hero unit and might chose out of some abilities on her, too. I would bet that HOTS campaign will be a bit like wc3, just with more fast dieing units and maybe some unit evolving options.

Did we have a mission where we had the hero and our own base in WOL?
We had plenty of them in SCBW like Fenix gathers 10k minerals, duran escorting to the psi disruptor...

That's a good point. The WoL missions were either Hero or Base, rarely both (excluding the Zeratul side-missions).

Damn straight. We probably won't be able to officially kill them until the Protoss expansion, though. You know, after they help Kerrigan cause chaos, destruction, etc.

Blizzard has world class writers doing the story of SC2, working round the clock. They don't need you Tuxedo.

Because, I don't play Starcraft for the game-play, I play it for the story! To hell with going down some path that doesn't even happen, I need my canon!
