the criminal justice club, to which i'm an active member and officer of, takes a trip to washington, dc each year before graduation for a week. we go down there and check out the monuments/memorials, and we go and check out the numerous police departments (they all try to recruit us/brainwash us). they include: arlington, va pd, capital pd, fbi pd, and the us postal service inspectors.
the trip was very informative and if my mom and dad fucked a month earlier, i could have been eligible for a free civil service test for the arlington police department. (you need to be 21 (to have a concealed weapons permit) by the time you'd finish the academy)
anyways, i took a ton of pictures. i've resized this one (even though it's still wide) but i'll attempt to resize the rest of them (once i upload them) by 1000px width to save your newb monitors.
the stunning briliance of an 18mm wide angle lens. i lol'd when the rest of the club (with p&s's) had to stand further back to get the whole thing in frame. if you don't know, that's the washington monument.
original sizePhotobucket was ga and resized so here's another account:
http://brontobyte.imgur.com/washington_dc_trip_11should be able to see all of the pictures. i had to weed out a ton. enjoy.

It's to show the French that we too can erect giant penises.

That's a really awesome picture. When it's shrunk, the picture looks like a drawing, and then when you do zoom in and look at the top of the monument, it still looks like a drawing.

Monuments really aren't meant to be useful, they're a profound expressions of a society to honor a person or an event that shaped the culture's history.

i shoot all my pictures in "raw" which are an uncompressed version of a .jpg (in short). i just modified, via the tone curve in adobe lightroom, the brightness. i didn't even crop it. i just framed the everything almost perfect, if i don't say so myself.

Should've taken a picture where you have your crotch right below it so it looks like your genitalia.

We'd need a bigger monument.

Clinton's presidency fits well as a metaphor for this monument.
