SC2Mapster are a bit too 'elitist' for my liking.
Funny how SEN used to have this reputation.
None.
Sort of. We just has inter-community elitism, rather than "our site is the best."

Heh. It's not so bad once you've been here a year.
None.
This has to be done by now.
(Out of curiosity.) What's left to do?
None.
Just exporting the wiki data, installing MediaWiki on GWN, and then importing the skin and the wiki files. The skin's link colors still look shitty, but I can change them later I guess.
Also me finding the time to do this would be nice. I've been busy for the past few days.

So you'll import -our- wiki and then we'll need to manually put the other communities' tutorials in there? Or will it be automatized as well?
And if it's automatized, what happens when two different articles are talking of the same subject?
None.

It can't be automatized, because none of the other affiliate's sites have a wiki except sc2mod, which probably isn't compatible with mediawiki. We can just copy and paste the stuff over fairly easily.
Red classic.
"In short, their absurdities are so extreme that it is painful even to quote them."
Yeah, the only automated part would be our wiki. As soon as GWN is up, we can manually add as many of the participating sites' wikis as we can.
EDIT:
The following seem to be the only tutorials/articles we can really pull from:
UNCOFESSIONAL DESIGNhttp://www.udmod.com/showthread.php?645-Basic-Regions I know we have a Points & Regions article, but I'm sure there's more stuff here that we can add to ours.
http://www.udmod.com/showthread.php?657-Water-Everything-You-Need-To-Know Could be a handy reference guide.
http://www.udmod.com/showthread.php?744-Using-Variables-for-Image-source-string I'm not sure about the importance of this one, but it's something we don't have.
http://www.udmod.com/showthread.php?747-Abilities-How-to-create-a-passive-Aura Simple tutorial about auras. I was going to write one myself, but both SC2Mod and UDMod have tutorials about it.
http://www.udmod.com/showthread.php?1125-Banks-Save-Files-Ingame More in-depth than ours, so we can definitely use some of this.
http://www.udmod.com/showthread.php?1155-Importing-Custom-SC2-Skins Another one we don't have that could be handy.
http://www.udmod.com/showthread.php?1148-How-to-use-Sections Interesting reference, as well.
http://www.udmod.com/showthread.php?1185-Editor-How-to-Test-Games-via-Battle.net If used as a base, this could be an interesting quick article.
http://www.udmod.com/showthread.php?661-How-to-create-dialog-based-Health-Bar To go with the Custom UI tutorial.
http://www.udmod.com/showthread.php?919-Creating-progressing-leaderboards We don't have a Leaderboard tutorial as far as I know. Another one that could be cleaned up.
SC2MODItems & Inventory Basics We don't have this one yet (Cardinal is working on it), but we could possibly use some of this.
[Intermediate] Auras! Another aura tutorial.
Weapon tutorial, all basic aspects of weapon in data editor. Some of this could be added to our Weapons page.
A Simple Unit Spawn Trigger A much more in-depth article about spawning units with triggers. This is the type of thing I've been talking about when I say we need to explain triggers rather than just copy/paste them.
Data Tables and You Interesting reference guide.
Guide: Ticks per second, waits, timers, real time, game time... Could add info to our Timers article, and add a Waits article in the meantime.
Terrain Objects We could definitely use an article like this. We would need new screenshots, though.
Dynamic Text Extremely useful tutorial about dynamic text.
Severe Problems in the Galaxy Language Interesting reference guide.

If the main purpose and goal of GalaxyWiki.net is to compete with SC2Mapster's Wiki, then you're wasting your time.
We have our own wiki. You're free to work on that if you'd like.
I remember him saying we should stop "stealing" his wikis as well, but couldn't find the post. And after he said that, he also decided to completely prevent my IP from previewing -anything- of sc2m.
It answers your question?
It's kind of sad he adopted this attitude: I had made Jack change a part of the first shoot of GWN's Constitution which was going to refuse the participation of sc2mapster, in a way.
None.
Now that GWN is up, I'll be keeping the OP updated with things that need to be changed or fixed related to the site. If you guys find remnants of monobook on there (like while background tables and whatnot) let me know here so I can fix the skin.

There's heaps of tutorials on Hive that would fit too. Anyway, I'll go tell the affiliates that it's up.
OK done.

- The "code box" doesn't have the dot-like surrounding cadre.
- The image's cadres are still white, and the text is white as well:
http://www.galaxywiki.net/index.php?title=Lighting- The "categories" at the top (Page, Discussion, Edit, etc.) don't have their tab.
None.
I removed the dotted border on purpose.
I fixed the image background but somehow it changed back, I guess? I'll reupload that part of the skin.
The top links aren't supposed to have tabs unless you roll over them. I think it looks cleaner this way.

Top links like floating text as it is. However, it does look cleaner this way. Maybe adding a separation between them would help? I'm thinking of something like this:
Page | Discussion || Edit | etc.

Nope. Devlin sorta did, but I basically told him it wouldn't work because of three reasons:
1) Payne is an idiot.
2) I have no reason to help you guys after the amount of shit you have given myself and my community. I gain nothing and have everything to give.
3) Payne is an idiot.
EDIT: If you ban payne from SEN, I'd be more inclined to help.

I don't think we've given mapster any shit, just you (because you like coming here).
Srsly, though, Devlin, is it supposed to be up? I'm still getting the "coming soon" thing.
None.

Anyways, we can still contact the members we want to take contact with individually. ;o

Oh, haha, probably. It just showed up right now for me.
Also... boy, is that a dull color scheme...
