mx-computer.com apparently hosts malware, and is causing Chrome to not like SEN:

Do you know which page on SEN prompted this? Or does Chrome display this error for every SEN page? Does this happen for a specific skin, or for all skins?

Depending on how harshly Chrome is filtering SEN, it could be anything from a skin (not Turtle or Epic, however) to an image in someone's post(s) or signature.

More details on the error? grep says Chrome is full of shit, but I don't have the entire copy of SEN because some parts are just ridiculously huge to download.

My Chrome isn't shitting brix over SEN, and I've got the latest version. Honestly I think this might just be a temporary problem at best, or one you can easily ignore at worst. My college's web access turns up something similar:

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

Yeah, I use Chrome and have yet to see this. Maybe it was from something someone posted?

A search for "mx-computer" on SEN leads to this thread, which contains an image from that site. Using "open image in new window" on the picture triggers Safari's malware protection.

Just clicking the thread gives me the same popup, and it's the 2nd picture in the OP. Maybe someone should edit that picture >.>

This is probably not even possible, but is there a way to -- server-side -- detect what URLs each browser blocks for security? If so, then the site could be set up to detect when someone posts a "dangerous" image, and then handle it somehow -- perhaps by writing out a placeholder and a link instead of a direct reference to the image?

You could, but you'd have to manually input the entries to filter, unless you can gain access to google's or mozilla's listings somehow.

To clear this up, all this is, is Chrome saying that it doesn't have a valid certificate for SEN. Just click the check box, and continue to the site. After that you should never see that message again.

It's not SEN that's the problem, it's the site hosting the image with the link. For whatever reason, Chrome dislikes that .jpg, or the site hosting it, and tries to stop you from visiting.

Strangely enough I can't even visit mx-computer or see the pictures from their site in Ex's thread. When I ignore the firefox warning their server returns me

Chances are they recognized the problem and through up a Forbidden message flag for their server, as to prevent it from affecting anything while they work on the problem (remote sites linking, google search engine listings, etc). It's a pretty common practice if something malicious makes its way onto a website.

Relatively ancient and inactive

I haven't had any of these problems.

Also, visiting SEN may harm your BRAINS.

It appears as though it (SEN) is sucking your soul out through your bellybutton.

We need a disclaimer stating that visiting SEN may alter one's appearance, bodily functions, and/or motivation.

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

If you have like 5 more of those, I would so make a "captainwill doesn't change facial expressions" animated image. Shoot, I'd embed that song into the image too.

I don't think it's anything to worry about, and there's nothing SEN can do to fix it, since it's a google thing.

Yes, I was wondering if it would be possible provided said listings were publicly accessible (and why wouldn't they be?).

Chrome should have it, since it's open-source, and because you're contacting Mozilla for a legitimate concern for website development, they should be more than happy to provide it. I don't think they'd just come out and list it like "Here it is for all to see!!!", probably more on a per-request basis.
