so HoN topic was talking about codex so I wanted to see how good LoL nuke items were.
I went viegar + deathfire grasp + Hextech gun blade + zhonyas ring and when I spammed my nukes I could deal serious damage. I ended with 525 AP and 16/4/8. it was pretty fun. also I was owning it up with fiddle, I learned how to jungle with him and he is a great ganker.

If you're gonna support ganker, get slow first and damage second. If you're gonna be the damager in a gank, get damage, obviously. Basically a successful ganks is comprised of three main things: High burst damage, some kind of disable (usually a stun, but a slow and a silence works as well), and player skill. At least, that's from my DotA experience.

I meant at times like you haven't started ganking, and you're against a ranged mid, so you don't get much expunge bonus damage. The funniest thing ever is when people watch me vanish, run over with ~400 hp (to my 150 or so) and I get them with a shot, ulti to get the extra attack speed after ambush buff (always have lifesteal with Twitch), and pop expunge if needed.

It doesn't matter iif you haven't started ganking yet or not. If you decide that you will play the ganking role, then you usually get the slow. However, I would suggest not soloing against a ranged hero unless a) You are ranged as well b) You have some kind of rapage lane control spell or c) You have some kind of cheap heal (this may include lifesteal of some sort, so long as it is effective). That is in order from best solo against range to helpful but not guarantee.

Why would you play Nasus horribly for IP? If you're bad with him, take a different hero
I keep seeing horrible twitches now that he's free this week, and it always makes me rage.

Played some good games today.

First game was by far one of the best games I have ever played. Most games I play, it is clear who is going to win by the 10 minute mark. But every now and then there comes a game not like that. This game was so close but my team ending up getting the win. I played malphite and I ended 21/10/16. I was pure rapage and my armor was amazing. I had like 350 armor and 3k hp by the end of the game and I was nigh impossible to kill.

2nd game- practice game where everyone was at or around my level, but I ended up killing a bunch of noobs as katrina. her ult is op if you ask me. I ended 23/2/6. I just got fed in the middle by noob, then went on ganking spree till I got like 600 ap and I was unstoppable.

3rd game- First time playing as kog maw, I think hes my new favorite. I wanna play him more, but his ult is so fun cause of its low cd and long range

How fares everyone else

Played my first game in 20 days, and I won the game and went 13-1-14 as Karthus. I took down the entire enemy team by myself before that darned twitch's poison got me in the end.

Last week I discovered the joy of spellvamp on Nasus.

As Nasus, I like to get the 15% spellvamp item (can't remember what, book of the ancients or something), get some more AP (usually in Rod of Ages). I usually see what type of damage the team will mostly do, and configure the rest of my build accordingly. My runes and masteries give me about +14% experience, so I can outlevel the mid while laning with a teammate, on occasion.

The most epic game ever I had flash and cleanse. The other team was 4 (yes, they are that dumb) mages and one useless tank. Everyone else on my team had died, so I got the golem buff. I spirit fire'd, hopped into a 3v1 (all mages), with my ~200 magic armor, ultid, slowed the quickest one, and proceeded to rape. One got away because I was stunned once and had to cleanse.

For those who don't know, Nasus' innate ability is 10/15/20% lifesteal. He was hitting about 160 without siphoning strike. At that time, siphoning strike was adding 152 to that, so he could hit up to 272. Combine that with the >100 magic dps to everything in the spirit fire, the -7% (I love AP) of enemy's max HP, that same percentage added to my attack (up to 250 IIRC), and +600 max HP, I was unstoppable. All of that regenerated me from 60% to 98%, while fighting those 3 mages. His ulti with spellvamp makes him impossible to solo, and he can easily change any teamfight.

TL;DR: 20% lifesteal and 15% spellvamp may not seem like much, but if you've got a champion like Nasus, it's well worth it.

In a side note, I won't be on much this week. The champions suck, and I have L4D2 on the computer.

I've been playing for a few days now, my name is Beertap.

For what the game is worth, it's a fun little game that you can kill time with. You got your champions which you can really customize any way, a wide variety of these champions and an even larger variety of items to further customize them.
I always play solo queue 5v5 and the Matchmaking System has been great to me. Only once have I been pitted up against much higher level players, the rest of the times there is a difference of no more than 4~5 levels and I've got 45 games to my name.

I've notice that there is a big difference between a skilled player and a non-skilled player. It's very easy to dominate if you're quite skilled. This is the reason why I've been playing a support class, Soraka. I can make pretty much any average player into a good one and I'll win most of my games. Currently 16-10 with this champion. Now if my team is full of idiots or leavers, there's not much I can do against any decent team.

Lucky bastard, for every 10 games I play, I probably get 1 good game that actually has equal teams.
Idk if that will change when I get higher levels, but right now I'm only level 19 and probably equal skill level to most level 30s.

I'm probably the best Twisted Fate (Which I was fuckin' ballin' with Sand Wraith. Same concept, ranged attack.), Kayle, Shen, and Amumu you've ever seen. This makes sense.

Also, I'm still lulling at all the crap said about LoL earlier in this post.

I rape with mundo, but I don't really find him fun to play

Trailer is really epic. Played a game against a carry-pusher Tristana today. The team kills were like 20-6 (in my favor), but they had one Tristana who pushed the hell out of us. They would push all the way to our tower, then we own them in a team fight, attempt to push all the way to their towers, (it seemed like they all had revives) then they would come back and outpush our push and kill our towers. Tristana did massive damage to towers and could kill creep waves extremely fast.

Very good hero imo, but not OP at all.
