Try playing other heroes. Monotony makes things seem terrible.

It could come from just having not played with players of your equal skill lately. When you play with better people, it's harder!

I'm currently sucking at 5v5, but raping 2v2. Any help/explanations?

EDIT: Also, it seems as if my psr went down by 150ish points overnight, despite winning my last 3 or 4 games. What gives?

psr is nothing.

Ultimo, I'm not very good. I don't play any EM though, which is more than most people can say. EM is IMO actually harder, since it amplifies skills. It's easier to win if you're better than everyone on the other team, even if the rest of your team sucks.

I really hate carries, and I wish I were better at any ranged hero. Elec is by far my best char. i've gone 2-0-20 before. I suck at succ, because her disables aren't all that friendly, and she has so little range that it's quite hard to mid.

How do pros stop vindicator's l1? Just avoid it?

Avoid it or get a level of your lowest manacost skill.

I played against Vindi as Witch Slayer, anytime he used his L1, I'd simply mana drain him or one of his warlocks. It made him pretty much useless since we were solo mid against each other. He was 0-3 by 12 minutes and rage quit.

Yeah, ws is a good counter to vind. However, vind can simply dominate certain opponents in lane (devourer, blacksmith). Basically any hero with mana problems to begin with due to high mana cost nukes.
It's because 2v2 isn't really balanced in the same way as 5v5. In 2v2, single target disables are A LOT stronger. Succubus is basically an instant win, as you mes one opponent, kill the other, then kill the mes'd one.

AOE spells are a lot more useless in 2v2, as AOE is generally used to hit a lot of opponents at once, as opposed to two.

As for the 150 PSR, I have no idea

On another note, through actually playing hard and not dicking around in most of my games, I have managed to grind my way up to 1659 PSR. I figured out what i was doing wrong before, which was basically idling. After I learned item and skill builds well, this was the hardest thing to learn. Always farmingm pushing, or ganking, and never idling. My recent games, my EPM has usually been above 400, and my GPM between 150 and 200, with higher amounts if i'm playing carries. But now that I have high PSR, i can't play the good games with neki, dev, or iso, as they are NEVER ON anymore....

Also, pyro is awesome. Went mid with him in a game today, and when my team had a total of 14 kills, I had 3 kills and 9 assists, meaning I had only not been involved in two kills for my entire team. At the end of the game, I had assists for 50% of my teams kills, as well as making up my fair share of about 1/5 of the kills. It was a really good game.

Poison_us and Loveless suck and ShredderIV! And, so does everybody else on SEN (except hydro neki ex [I assume devilesk includes himself]).

For the most part, I'm in concurrence with Devilesk's opinion, though to a far lesser degree. I think you guys are self-sufficient to the point of not ruining every other game (i.e. your own game, not with other SEN players) (except maybe Poison_us and ShredderIV). However, you guys play in a really relaxed manner, and don't seem to care all that much about losing/winning/etc. which is why I don't necessarily blame you for sucking.
I take HoN a lot more seriously, i.e. to a more competitive level/need to win level, which is why I often get mad when I play with you guys (also why I think you guys suck, since you never seem to get any better).

Just the same, I don't like playing with devilesk that much because he is satisfied simply with pubstomps. Although such pubstomps are enjoyable once in a while, I prefer being able to play more serious games too.
By this, I mean games in which the opposing side can hold their own and also make their own pushes, presenting a difficult challenge. In such situations, although the enemy satisfies my skill requirements, many of the SEN players here would not be able to come together in order to fight against such situations (myself included).
This brings up my next point: people who I would like to play with. These would be Neki, Excalibur, and devilesk (since, even though he likes pubstomping, he is undeniably really good support)). FaZ is included as well, although from my observations, his actual playing skill feels much lower than his theoretical-tactical-strategic skill.

So, yea, there's my rant + devilesk's shoutout.

Devilesk reveals that he only settles with pubstomps because the players at SEN suck too many balls. He says he won't "play competitive with the trash at sen". He says he would gladly play if Neki and I are on.

You know, part of Dev's ban is that he no longer has access to the community. If you or anyone else simply cant resist being his messenger, I think action might have to be taken in regards to your membership as well. Consider this a warning, a ban is a ban, and if this wasn't the umpteenth time someone's been delivering Dev's words for him, I wouldn't be taking issue. But quite frankly, enough it enough.

Except for the fact that it's unfair to still assume we suck, considering that with the exception of the one game you played with me say, a week ago, I have not played with any SEN members for over a month, if not more. It is also unfair to assume that we do not want to get better. I wind up playing pubs a lot in order to get some of my heroes down better, such as pyro. By playing pubs, I've gotten so much better at aiming stuns and ganking with him.

I have also been on the current lookout for a clan to join, after my other one fell apart. Usually the reason i would play more relaxed around you guys was also because it was a break from playing with my clan, as they absolutely HATED losing.

But once again. Stop making judgements about our skill levels when you don't even play with us anymore. And if you want to play a competitive game, hook me up. I've been looking for some as well.
