There was a time when people in the shoutbox said, LOL! *link*, and it was okay. You have the right to laugh at whatever you want and by no mean this topic is intended to unmotivate you to share your laughter with other people BUT
AT LEAST PUT SOME EFFORT IF YOU ARE REALLY GOING TO MAKE IT A TOPIC.
It's okay, Null almost always becomes off-topic fastly, but side comments shouldn't matter as long as the post complements the original post in a way.
Lately, you, yes YOU, are feeling like you want to share something funny with us, do it in the shoutbox please, people that care, will read it and click it from there and chances are that if your topic looks like this:
LOL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v26eXtuatCE
People will usually not care about it, because, really, that's not even a topic, that's a shout, you put no effort into your topic and you didn't even use the youtube tag!
I've said no name, and I hope that no one takes it personally, if someone does, I'm ready to bash. This is just a tendency of crappy, no, REALLY crappy topics I've seen lately in null.
My proposal to moderators is:
Give 2 severity, no less, and close (of course) ALL topics that look that they took less than thirty seconds to be created. It shouldn't matter how funny the link was or how depressed I am, what kind of clothes should I wear or anything at all. If the topic doesn't contribute, not punishing those topics, would only create more of them, and when you guys come to realise you'll have a lot of people just randomly posting one single link and that's the whole topic. Later posts will also not be good.
