I had girlfriends at the valentine's day, and I actually knew what to do, but now I am single and I wish to invite a girl to spend the day with me. Problem is she is not my girlfriend...yet . I thougt about taking her to the movies and then watching the sunset or something, but I don't have money... I guess I could burrow some to my dad...

So if any of you know what I could do with her, I'd appreciate.
Now, I would have asked my dad first but he's not here... You guys on SEN are the only help I can get...

You're idea sounds romantic, do something like that. or just do something she likes a lot.

Wouldn't watching the sunset burn your eyes a little?

First tip, if you both have a minimum of confidence to each other, prefer a movie at home to cinema.
Secondly, no flower for the first date!
Third, gurlz -love- chocolate.
Fourth, never make a move too soon.
Fifth, give her your -whole- day. IMO, only passing the night together would be rather sucky.

Try to reserve the movie for the night.
I myself am extremely romantic, though I've learned over my multiple fails : girls always seems to love the guys in their damn stupid romantic movies, but in reality, a guy like that is simple a ''too much'' guy. For example, right now, try to remember that it's winter and that it may be cold outside... would you really force her to take a walk in the park, sit on a damn cold chair and watch the sunset together? Nah !
Go shopping with her is, sadly, not an option for you because the point would've been to pay her something.
Going ice-skating could be really nice.

If there's a really awesome park nearby you could go for a walk in it. That's pretty much open to bear attack adventures, which would be a memorable experience.

Not on V-day. And not any date besides the first date. Target (any other sort of store like this works as well) is a highly effective date spot, but it's applications are limited.

I made a girl chocolates (truffles and my mom had a bunch of heart and bear molds so I made some of those with this pink/strawberry chocolate) once. ;o Later she told me she didn't want to get rid of them so she waited days to eat them. I also made her a bracelet that she wore until it broke (one day she didn't have it and I asked why. She said it broke, then she showed me all the beads).

Apparently girls like things you put time and effort in to, not just something you went and spent $5 for at the store.

Especially pertaining to the "Dirty Deed." Something you guys will learn about next semester after you get these basic concepts down.

Tell her you want to make it special, and then wait for a day other than Valentine's Day to go all out.
