I'll have a playable version in the next week or so and I will post it here to be downloaded. There is MUCH I decided to add in the game making it feel more like final fantasy and there is alot of fixing up I would like to do to some of the game systems. Even the boss fights you've played in the passed will be much different and the story will be alot more interactive. I will basically be working on this to perfection until SC2 comes out.

Kenshin, I don't know where I'm suposed to make posts about the game, but I have a few bugs to report:
Wardens 5th spell, gift of knowledge, causes all players to lose all their wisdom points when it ends. so you can imagine that it effectively ends a late game immediately xD
Also, I don't know if this is universal or just for green (leader/host/w/e) but when someone goes to the blacksmith (might just be for weapons, haven't seen green ever go to armor yet) it zooms there for everyone. It caused a player to die in my last game.
Also about warden, I stupidly tried to fly over a cliff using pheonix, and when it ended I didnt reappear. I know about the glitch fix revive, however for some reason I appeared in the box where all wardens forms are stored, and couldn't get out. Eventually units spawned at me and I kept dieing. Could you perhaps make it so that pheonix doesn't move at all when u use it? spam hold pos or something, cuz I imagine if u tried to use it during the hydra boss battle, you could easily just fly out of the arena by accident, and have that happen you. Also, in case ur open to ideas, I think it would be better to let wardens spell 2 cause poison immediately to whatever it touches, instead of after it ends. Since units only spawn so fast, in a game with decent players they usually all die before the spell even ends, so at best you get 2-4 shots out of hte poison. Not really worth it when u could just use that atb point to heal someone.

All in all however fun game :D by FAR better than all your other FF games (no offense, they just got really boring after the first couple areas because there was nothing to do other than quest) I especially love the blacksmith function.

There are a few spells I am going to change and alter. Gift of knowledge will be replaced with a spell to increase party EXP per kill. I will definately make the poison begin when warden begins the spell (it does make more sense :P)

I could hold pos on the Phoenix but I mean if your not careful and keep glitch dieing.... :P you should probably try another job haha

The blacksmith function will be changed slightly. Basically you will have to do "sidequests" for the blacksmith to find hidden rare ores and then as a group, pay him a set fee to earn new weapons and armor and giving you more upgrades. Some equipment comes with bonus passive spells/effects. There is about 12 of these missions.

Also, within the next few days I will post a solid beta version, allowing you to play throughout the first part of the game and fight the first boss.

I thought we could do the first boss in the versions that are already out? I've been to the boss a few times already.
But the reason I like the blacksmith is because for characters that rely on wisdom and stamina points (like the warden of course) you're not really willing to put points into weapons or armor. but then u get the problem of either having really crappy armor and hp, and getting killed by your allies lurkers when they have like 50 ups, or when u get the wardens final spell, you have absolutely no damage upgrades. So it really helps that you can buy those things to make up for what you lack in stat points. (though as a side note, the function might be a little rigged for alchemist and thief, seeing as how they have a relatively limitless supply of items to sell)

The thing with Chemist and Thief though, is the chance they actually steal or create an item is rare. and if they decide to sell their items to make more money, I think it's clever. and the thing about the boss is I changed the style of the fight and added some strategic value. I'm doing that now with boss 2.

Oh one more thing for now, I keep hearing complaints that you can't check your spell list in game. could u fix that? XD perhaps add a location where the atb civs are stored when atb is over?

If I'm being annoying you can tell me. But to be honest this is the second time I've ever liked a game enough to get involved in it's production :) the first was paths open rpg. Anyway, are the first spawns supposed to be so easy? I think that you should like... make it so that enemies have a LOT of max hp, and as the party levels up spawns gain more and more health, to keep up to the party. Not evenly or leveling would get really tedius, but at least a bit of an increase.

Able to play the first 7 quests. Only the first boss is playable atm, I am looking for gamplay bugs before adding more content.! At least an hours worth of gameplay anyways. 4-5players needed.

First and foremost I've been waiting for this map for how many months now...I lost count.
I've played this map over a hundred times and i don't seem to get bored of it. Not yet at least...i can only imagine how ken feels.
I'm so addicted to the amount of teamwork the game desires. I forgot to tell you ken but i will seriously add a warning sign recommending to not let idiots join this map. To get in depth.
This game might seem very hard at the beginning but as you understand that depending on your team build it will determine how hard each battle or boss will be.
Each character is very unique and i cant seem to choose my favorite but ranger still seems to be my favorite or is it the monk...idk. Yet, i know blue mage will be so epic that i will have to edit this post when its done. :D
Theirs 10 characters to choose from 3 tanks being...Monk, Samurai, Dark knight to 4 damage which are Thief, Blue mage, Geomancer, Ranger, and 3 support units being Chemist, Warden, and Dancer.
I love the first boss so far. It's so hard that it will bring nub teams to their knees and barely budge me :D and my team. Excluding when i do runs with ken...i let those dweebs do whatever and then when we fail..i laugh.
The critical system balanced with spells makes it epic as well. I can't seem to understand how he manage to balance so many units.
Now that ken is getting closer to finishing the map and finally added the treasure system it seems that the game became much more interesting.
I'm trying not to spoil the surprise but it sure is funny when you end up getting owned by the second boss..
This map is very balanced and i seem to not get enough of it. The characters are all well done and can do their own unique spells. Each offering advantages to surviving in ken cruel map. Enemies as well as bosses being able to cast spell makes the game 10x more challenging then all the other maps ken has made.
The upgrading system lets you build your character in many different ways but i highly recommend some armor in the beginning. Then going stamina and spells :D
Other than that i highly recommend to get your friends and yourself and give this map a run.
The cut scenes are awesome...and the story line is good so far. But when its done i can only imagine how epic its going to be!
Oh YOU CAN RIDE CHOCOBOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOT! I totally forgot about that so many things have been added that you forget about all the small things lol!
I hope you guys are ready to spend a whole day on this map once its done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ken you should hurry up and finish >.>

Side note: I haven't tested anything new from you yet Kenshin. I feel so empty inside now...

so when are you going to post a new update? and when are you gonna get on sc lol i keep asking koinman if you've been on. also idk if its just the version i have or what but theres a glitch where when you get(or turn in i forget which) a mission (i think its the third but on the top row in the first town, you have quest bunker quest bunker and the inn, the second quest bunker keeps saying i can ride the chocobos) and then later on in that game after i beat leviathan i couldnt turn the quest in to cid. then later on when we went to the desert area, the quests only showed up and worked if player 1 went to it. and then even worse, the chocobo quest could not be turned in, AND we couldn't get into the town. although we DID use burrow to jump into it. also that brings me to another thing, might wanna use something else to block the town entrance (an idea is put something labeled rock slide in there and then maby add some kind of trigger to move units away until its gone) also since i'm in bug mode, i find that occasionally when thief uses triple attack near a wall or other obstical, it gets blocked and the thief is gone for good. maby instead of removing the thief place it in a different area (like the warden's transformations) and if it gets blocked perhaps have it spawn in a town or something like that. ok i know this was alot so i'll add a quick check list.

Thx for the post, I've fixed many things since the version available for download in the first post. I will provide a new update soon enough. Haven't found time lately to really get into trigs.

There has been a bunch of times where, when I was a thief, or my friend was a thief, and he used the triple attack spell, he spawned under the black civilian near the stargates. I have no clue why.
