Yo ppl Pinky here, having troubles as usual.
I got a kill to cash system set up, it ain't workin to well. I'm using kill score. Problems I have found is:
1. Killing units at the same time, via splash or just same time doesn't reward player.
2. Killing units via triggers doesn't reward player.
How do I fix this? I couldn't find anything that helped me in the wiki, also I can't use death counts because there are multiple players capable of earning rewards not just one.
EDIT: I realised I can use DDS to fix my rewarding via triggers, anyway to bypass the splash damage though?

The best kills-to-cash that I know goes something like this:
Player 1:
Conditions:
Current player has killscore of at least 4000
Player 8 has suffered at least 1 deaths of Infested Kerrigan
Actions:
Subtract 4000 killscore for current player
Set deaths for p8 subtract 1 deaths of Infested Kerrigan
Preserve
Player 1:
Conditions:
Current player has killscore of at least 8000
Player 8 has suffered at least 2 deaths of Infested Kerrigan
Actions:
Subtract 8000 killscore for current player
Set deaths for p8 subtract 2 deaths of Infested Kerrigan
Preserve
Player 1:
Conditions:
Current player has killscore of at least 12000
Player 8 has suffered at least 3 deaths of Infested Kerrigan
Actions:
Subtract 12000 killscore for current player
Set deaths for p8 subtract 3 deaths of Infested Kerrigan
Preserve
That will also cope with splash, if you put the triggers with the bigger numbers higher up on the trigger list.

Using this system splash and simultaneous kills will always be a problem.
The deaths system zany suggested is probably your best bet, but can prove problematic when you splashed multiple players.
If you don't mind having an area where units are physically killed you should go for kills-to-cash perfect.

Yeah that's what I was going to do, but I was hoping there was a way to circumvent having to teleport the unit away. You know, kill it just then and there.

How does one do that if you used a "kill all units at location" action and you don't know how many units are there?
My only thought would be to remove the units 1 by 1, creating new weak units in a 'death pen' somewhere that the trigger-owning player then massacres as in KtoCperfect.

Hey guys Pinky here I have found a solution to my problem which differs from those offered so I'll just show you what I've done if anyone is interested.
K2C Perfect didn't suit me because I had computers killing stuff as well as players, which would mean I needed to set aside a bunch of space and locations for all the kill pens, in addition I didn't like the fact that rewarding wasn't instantaneous. Especially since if you killed a bunch of people with splash or a trigger spell you would have a significant delay.
What I have done is stuck with the Kill Score method but instead of copying triggers I have given in a "range" of triggers.
So say I killed a Zergling (50 kill score), it would give me 10xp and 10gold before in the old system. But now it goes something like this.
CON
KILLS AND RAZINGS IS AT LEAST 50
KILLS AND RAZINGS IS AT MOST 150
RANDOMIZING SWITCHES
DC is X (this indicates which area of the map i'm in)
ACT
Give X gold based on the switch outcome
Give X EXP based on the switch outcome
Since my map is divided into multiple "arenas" where only certain types of monsters roam, I have set up DCs as well.
P.S. that is a simple version of my triggers, you get the gist though lol.
