Just putting something out there...its not just a religious thing. I could go into the health ed part of it obviously. You know...STDs and knocking her up...but here's the real problem. If she's psychotic enough to sleep with you the first night you meet her, then she's psychotic enough to do it with other guys. And if she sleeps with two other guys within the same week or two (and trust me that's not too farfetched for some women), then she will come back and look at you, making up excuses about how the condom ripped, or how she was lying about taking the pill. There's a lot of unnecessary trauma involved with doing something like that.

That's also if she isn't crazy enough to scream rape. Even if it is later found to be not true, you're taking the gamble. You just don't know her character from one night.

Ah hell, do what you want, but you can't say I didn't warn you.

I think the point was that TZ used the term 'mortal sin' rather than something without a religious connotation. Not that there aren't all sorts of things that could go wrong, as you said.
