So gais, how are your starcraft maps folders organized? For mine i have a Samsons maps folder with an abandoned sub folder and released subfolder and things like that, and for custom maps and concepts i have a UMS folder in the main maps folder with concepts, effects, unprotected, and incomplete/experimental. Then my downloads folder is just alphabetically sorted.
None.
I have a folder that says DMs srs business, and a download folder with 3 porn maps and over 9000 defense maps and bounds.
I win right?

One huge folder named Download. I once made an attempt to sort it all, but I quickly gave up when I looked at the number of files in the folder...
Just here for the activity... well not really
Maps Folder: 832 files, 2.83 GB (the folder is probably, what, 2-3 years accumulating)
My collection of mods: 1412 files (don't worry they aren't all .exes), 2.58 GB
Not all are from downloads folder. I have heavy campaigns in there.

wavs are large and bloated so shouldn't count much. I don't have all my 9 years of whatnot. This computer is 3 years old.

I have a "DavidJCobb" folder with pretty much every map I've ever made, even tests. Maps by other people go in "customs".

Porn maps lolwut?
None.
Back in the day, I spent a ton of time organizing my maps into all sorts of folders for categories.
(e.g; bounds, impossible, cat and mouse, movies, melee, fastest, top v.s. bottom, rpg, resident evil, starship troopers.)
My largest folder were the bounds by far. However, I have undergone several system restarts over the years, and have lost several amazing maps. Currently, non of my maps are organized, and I do not intend to organize them until I get a back-up hard drive.
I also used to have a folder for all the unfinished test maps I had played. Those were always fun to exploit.
None.
Why organize?
I'm cluttered, and I'm okay with that.

Because if you spend 1 minute cleaning up your map folder you'll ultimately save yourself a lot of time in the future?
