If the distance requires me to take the car I add more keys and my MP3-player (to plug into the radio, cause CDs are sooo 90s).

Get out. Whenever I go on a long car ride, I definitely drag my entire CD collection into the car with me because You'll never know what you're in the mood to listen to. Besides, mp3 = shit quality, and that is very disrespectful if you're playing good music loudly.

Most of the CDs you carry have MP3s on them.
Besides, I got a terrible selection of CDs, mostly because it's impossible to get the stuff I listen to here (yay for trance, j-pop and eurobeat). And I don't really notice any difference from the little I got on CD compared to the MP3s.

I never go anywhere without my wallet, phone, and keys. When I have classes, I carry my 16gb USB drive. Nothing too exciting.

Phone
Wallet
Keys (Flash drive, bottle opener, various store cards attached)
Gum

Also, carrying knives is generally not the greatest idea. While there are state laws about knife regulations, generally counties and towns have their own laws as well. I may be fine carrying a 4" one edged blade in my town, but if I travelled to say Boston for the day and forgot that it was in my pocket and got searched by police, then I'd be screwed (I think they have a 2" blade limit, and yes I'm from MA :P). Getting busted for a possession of an illegal weapon could be a hefty fine or possibly more...

Wallet with a bit of cash, all kinds of cards, condoms, anti-allergy pill (in case that bitch decides to return) and some other stuff. I don't take my wallet to parties that involve lots of drinking, as it can be stolen or lost easily if I'm very drunk.
Keys without any can openers or any other such things. I prefer to keep it compact and light.
Mobile. Not a new one, so it's a bit of a brick.
Tissues, even though I never use them. Dunno why I carry them.
Possibly a pen - I hate using my organizer on the phone to write stuff down.

You carry a bike around? Doesn't that get tiring?

For the love of god flac. Not to mention, 256 kbps mp3 is indistinguishable from 1000 kbps flac.

I almost always carry my purse, with a variety of makeup, and other articles such as:
Three colors of lipstick (All Revlon, I believe)
Three different eye-shadow compacts
One eye-liner marker (Wet'n'wild)
Natural Wear Pressed powder (Wet'n'Wild, essentially a coverup, but it doesn't make me break out!)
Two eye-liner pencils (crap, get pens or markers)
Nail Clippers, Nail files
Eyebrow tweezers
Hand Sanitizer
A variety of scrunchy hair-ties.
My demo cd of my music
Alittle money (only recently)

Put all the numbers you want out there, CD's are still better. Ask any Metalhead if Physical Music > Digital Music and they will say yes. Learn your respect, man.

Does anyone actually notice any of that? I can't really imagine how people react.

And, yeah, I agree with Norm, but for me it's just the feeling of having bought the CD and having something physical to hold in my hands, lol, despite the fact that I'm not old enough to have a permit yet.

All I'm saying, is that when conversing with Metalhead acquaintances, "I have over 10,000 songs that I downloaded" might get you a punch in the face, but saying "I have over 900 CD's + Vinyls all together" will yield major props.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

nearly always:
-keys for house#1 (parents), house#2 (study), bicycle, postbox (all are on a tiny bag where I could put the keys inside but I never did)
-mobile phone (Samsung)
-one pack of handkerchiefs (I'm an allergy sufferer)
-wallet (money: up to 100 €, giro account card, ID card, driving license, health insurance card, student identity card, student's semester ticket, card with contact information from my bank)
-watch (Fossil, analog, metallic with blue display background)
-glasses (thin, black with rectangular glass)
-pants, shoes (black with white), socks, underwear (boxer shorts, no undershirt), T-shirt

not always:
-if I have to drive or to take a bus I will have my mp3 player (Thompson Lyra) + headphones (if I take the bus only or walk ;o )
-if I go to the university, I've mostly my laptop with its bag with me

ALL PRAISE YOUR SUPREME LORD CORBO

CDs > Flash Drives. No discussion there.

I got into vinyls a while ago and they're quite awesome too, too bad that in El Salvador you hardly find anyone that has some. However if you do they tend to just give them away cause they think they're "old" and worthless :P

fuck you all

Urm, Bagles... I don't hide my purse... I dunno. I mean, if people have a problem with the purse, the girly way I dress, the lipstick, the eye-shadow, the makeup and the earrings will probably upset them first. And I've never had anyone really do anything to me, an occasional weird look, but that's about it.

1: 9/10 times metalheads are idiots. Nothing against metalheads though, so are all people who define themselves by a genera of music.
2: CDs are digital media.
