I am very surprised no one mentioned "Faith and Destiny" yet. Its probably the only scRPG that makes a good attempt at being turn based. A detailed story, and a decent spell selection add to the uniqueness. Its too bad it was never quite finished, but even whats there is fun to play and can last a few hours.

No Faith and Destiny? Though I haven't played it in awhile, I think it's aged okay for most old RPGs. I'll try uploading to the database, but I'm not sure this is the right version tbh.
Edit: I think someone did finish Faith and Destiny, but it wasn't Nanaki though, that's what the map says at least. Though the version I have makes no mention of Nanaki at all so I'm not sure if they had his consent in finishing it, but I'm not sure.
