The following is the briefing from my campaign:
Since the beginning, the Kel-Morian Combine has been marked as greedy pirates. The Combine formed several mining guilds on the resouce-rich planet of Moria. This made the Combine a formidable opponent, and some feared that their army, one of the largest at the time, would take over the sector.
The Combine has had a very rough history. Originally part of The Confederacy, The Combine was formed to prevent The Confederates to take over their mining operations. When The Confederacy fell, The Morian were passed down to Mengsk and his Dominion. During The Brood Wars, they seceeded out of the Dominion and gained their independence.
The Combine, despite being independent, was still under Mengsk's surveillance. The Combine had a sense of rebellion. However, many were afraid that a war with The Dominion would be dangerous and costly. Rebellious attitudes still lived, however, and there was no doubt war would soon break out.
Any misinformation, grammar mistakes, or death threats?

In terms of grammar, I found the last paragraph doesn't have good flow to it. Other than that, it's all good.

They aren't pirates. there's barely 1 mention of them being pirates, and that's only in regards to an excuse for the confederacy to harass them.
Why would pirates be doing net-gain labor like mining anyways? They are more of a super powerful corporation.

Well, I really can't think of another word for rich and greedy. Miser doesn't fit because they do spend money.

The resources gained from the planet allowed the Combine to develop a powerful military presence, and many feared that their army, one of the most powerful at that time, would successfully gain control of the sector.
Originally part of The Confederacy, The Combine was formed to prevent the Confederates taking over their mining operations. When the Confederacy fell, they were annexed into Mengsk's Dominion. During The Brood Wars, they seceded out of the Dominion and gained their independence.
However, despite their new-found independence, they were still under Emperor Mengsk's influence. However, many were afraid that another attempt at freedom, this time with The Dominion, could possibly fail, and even if it succeeded, would be costly in resources and lives. Despite this, many still harbored rebellious attitudes, and there was no doubt war would eventually break out.
Reworded to flow better.
It is only reworded though, not checked for errors in lore.
