Just to let you guys know a few things:
- Ex came to me. When closing it down Maplantis I had the possibility of passing on the torch, except there was nobody to pass it to. He wanted to try running the site, I said sure.
- I'm not coming back. Evidently I didn't even want to admin here at SEN, I'm definitely not at Maplantis either, I'm just getting him set up. Maybe I'll make maps for SC2, whichever decade it gets released.

I'd like to mention that while I was antagonizing Ex, that's not when I got suspended. I got suspended after I started making suggestions for people to replace him. Just a thought

If Ex does a good job, then I'll support him, but I think that admin is too much(that globe is blimmin annoying), GM would be better.

In that case I support whoever that person is (Doodan probably) for admin if IP wishes to maintain the status quo. Also if Doodan is on so often, and is a global mod, why are people saying SEN is undermoderated?

If you have constructive and intelligent commentary to share, you are welcome to those. While I oppose the promotion myself, I feel no remorse or sympathy for those who wish for me to provide assisted suicide to those who get themselves suspended or banned over this.

And plus, it simply doesn't help your cause. In fact, in this case, it actually proves the opposite, that harder moderation is indeed necessary.

Maybe I'll care once I start mapping for SC2. Until then, meh. Excalibur always seemed immature, but then again, I did too back in the day. At least he's trying or at least giving the appearance of caring.

Of course, seems strange that he would be given the helm for two mapping sites. Say what you will, I'll never fully trust that he'll do both justice. If he is so adamant about Maplantis, let him reign there. If he wants SEN to thrive, he can admin here. Both, though? To Excalibur: Why would you want to work on two competing sites for both to succeed? How will you differentiate the sites so that they aren't the same? I mean, you might want them to go in one direction, but the traditional purpose of having the two sites was that they provided different cultures for different mappers to work in.

So, now that Maplantis is back up, maybe it's time to reconsider? What has Excalibur really done within more than a week, except clean out the clans back in the beginning?
