Okay ive been using retroGRP for a long time and its alot better then GRPedit so dont tell me to use a dif program. I have all my modding stuf on a flash drive and i took it out and now RetroGRP says "an unnamed file was not found" and it screws up all the colors.
I tryed reinstalling it but it doesnt work...
Does it have to with Stardat.mpq? cause i had to re add a list file for it....
Thanks, if you can help

This is one of the reasons not to use retrogrp
.So yeah use a different program GRPedit or SFgrpcov are great ones to use.

He already said not to say that Twitch. Be useful or get the fuck out.
I think its the palettes that your missing. (.PAL files i think) No idea where they are.
i just came to that conclusion too.... I tryied reinstalling SC and BR and RetroGRP but it still says the same thing. And i tried clicking load pallet and the same error popped up again...
And i tried SFgrpcov and it doesnt really work, neither does GRPEdit... Retro GRP rocks exceopt for this...
And excal, are the .PAL files in the Stardat.mpq?

Woot i actually solved a problem my self! I got my retroGRP to work by clciking "reset locations"
so ya... thanks excalibur

If you haven't tried using a recent version of my converter, then it isn't going to work as well. (for example, if you had been using the version that was mirrored here for too long, which was the very old original version only)
What I would recommend is using GRPEdit for previewing images (since mine currently has no preview) and using my own program, SFGrpConv, to do the conversions. GRPEdit can view more images than RetroGRP can (RetroGRP doesn't like some GRP files) and my own program is more reliable on the conversions.

i tired dling your program but your downloader program didnt have SFGrpConv on the list

Hmm, it should have it; I even tested it to be sure. Maybe try deleting programlist.ini from the download folder to make sure the program is downloading the most up-to-date list. If that doesn't work, then just download SFGrpConv directly from my site. All you need to do to run it is extract the files somewhere then run it, no runtime files needed.
