In comparison to the "What I'm Listening To" thread, this is just a general thread of looking for Good Music. After all, not everyone has time to run through 100's of pages of text.
So. Any Suggestions?
None.

What genre?
I mean Mozart etc. made good music, doesn't mean I have to enjoy listening to it...
'twould probably be wiser to suggest that the community suggest good
new bands, as I'm sure the majority of SEN has found plenty of quality established bands. Of course, I could be wrong.
That being said, I suggest...
The Submarines ("You Me and the Bourgeoisie", "Xavia", "Submarine Symphonika"); and
I Hate Kate ("Always Something", "I'm In Love With a Sociopath").
None.
Well. In contrast to the "What I'm listening to". You get to know some decent songs. Still looking for more.
None.
I can't contribute 'cause my music taste is spazzy and gay, but does anyone have good instrumental songs to recommend?
None.

Lol, "good" music is subjective. Sure it's specifics as opposed to what someone just happens to be listening to at the time, but it's still going to be a variety of random songs, of which are going to be just as likely/unlikely to be decent.

Even the worst pieces are better than anything you'll find in the charts.
He still hasn't told us what genre so...
The Genre isn't specific. The debate of "Good" music is left up to the person using the list.
None.
Why? He was an excellent composer -- think 1812 Overture.
Also, may I suggest Blitzen Trapper ("Black River Killer", "Furr")? 'tis a wee bit country-ish, which I detest, but somehow I enjoy it.
None.
Relatively ancient and inactive
This is probably not what Vi3t wanted, and sometimes, classical music isn't quick enough to meet whatever demands you may have (there are some exceptions, but most is rather slow and peaceful).
So, I'd recommend the now-probably-defunct German band 'E Nomine'. Youtube their song 'Mitternacht', and if you like it, get them. From the classical, I recommend Beethoven's 7th Symphony just to get acquainted.
Otherwise, if you ever learn Russian, I have a ton of artists in several genres and all that
.
Also, may I suggest Blitzen Trapper
NO, YOU MAY NOT.

Same as me. I love pretty much all music from tool to notorious B.I.G. to underoath to rocket summer to MoTab to everything(except country... Never grew to like it)

For instrumental, you can go classic, as shown above, or more modern instrumental. There's a Russian instrumental musician who I have, Виктор Зинчук (Viktor Zinchuk), who I like. 99% instrumental. Actually, I'd be interested in more modern-instrumental too, if someone has any suggestions.

Yeah,
Gordian Knot, no vocals whatsoever and amazing music. Buckethead is a good modern insturmental composer too.

Then differ. But you have to back it up. I have maybe a hundred Classical pieces by different composers, and I'm fairly sure maybe 65% are peaceful and slowish.

Виктор ЗинчукВиктор ЗинчукIt's less metally. He actually often takes pieces existing and just guitarisizes them, though some stuff's original. He made a version of 'Sandstorm'

Actually, I enjoy a wide variety of genres. It's mostly the screamo/metal stuff I try to avoid. Guitar solo's are cool. Unrecitable lyrics are not.
