As some who read the shoutbox have seen, I am remaking my true first map, thanks to horde (<3 and what not). So with that being said I need assistance for ideas to make my map MUCH BETTER AND SEXIER than my first attempt (Link: http://www.staredit.net/files/53/ ). So far we have
Concepts
- Ammo system - Expel bullets based of damage.
- Threat system - The more 'noise' you make, the more zombies will be attracted to your position rather than free roaming. Safety will be an option which you can turn on
Safehouse builder - (May or may not appear in this map) - Build baracades to seal the front door from all but ranged enemies, windows and gaps in the wall included. After that, you can place the MAGICAL safe, which links to all other safes in the city (Yes the one from RE1). Using death counter menu and such to find items rather then tons of units on the map. The Merchant, will aid you in your struggles by selling you items, however you must wait for him to restock his supply. Mercenary recruitment also will be a safehouse option, fill your house with some of the finest civilians around and defend your house
- RPG Character building - Based off repetive actions, your natural abilities will increase, almost dramticly. Constantly reloading, firing, picking up and moving items, and other tasks in the map.
- Random Loot - Enemies randomly drop money, healing items, optional Key Items, ammo, and more!
- Inspection System - Talk to people, inspect furnature for items and such, find out what that item right next to you really does.
- Ambiance - Random people, objects, and even doors will respond at random with a message. Some may be the people inside telling you to leave and that they want no troble, others may be rescued survivors giving you thanks and giving you a random reward. EVEN random armed NPCs giving you a spare clip when you've run out.
Missions
--- Area 1, start ---
Mission set 1:
- Unbarracade the Gunstore owners house due to his Silly wife baracading the WRONG door
- Have a drink with the bartender, and listen to his story
- Find out about recent power surges at the Power Relay Station
- Locate the key to a resident's back door, to gain access to the Power relay station
- Infultrate the complex, and restore power

Mission set 2:
- Trade weapons at the hotel down the street for nonperishable foods.
- Assist local survivors by suppling them with food, guns, and baracading supplies.

Mission set 3:
- Slay 25 zombies outside the gunstore, their kind has already overstayed its visit.

As you can see here Ive assembled a rather short list of things, but I need more help in the enemies/missions/weapons/locations department. Once I have enough of this complete and the map itself complete along with some screenshots, I intend to make a UMS Production post.
