Speeding up gameplay

Alright, whenever you go to the regular single player you know how you go to a UMS map and you start it off the gameplay is slow? (You know how you hold =/+ button and it speeds up the gameplay) I'm curious to figure out how I can fix this. I'm not sure if its possible within a map or not but its pretty annoying having to worry about it.

Wasn't quite sure where to put this but it deals with a map I'm making and I am in need of assistance :P

I'm pretty sure there is no way to do this.

There's a solution: play on LAN or some multiplayer. Single Player will always default to "Normal" game speed. Besides, if you intend on making the map for multiplayer, you should probably test on it, because some triggers work differently (or don't work at all) between Single Player and Multiplayer. Triggers also might work differently if more than one player are in the game (especially if you use triggers owned by "All Players" or a force).

Edit: On a side note, LAN (UPD) has a very low latency, and Direct Cable Connection has equivalent latency to Battle.net.

This is more of a one player map but I don't have access to b.net so I'm left with having to test on SP.

You can play on Lan, Without having to go on Bnet.

But whats the point if you have no one else to play with on LAN?

It will automatically be at fastest speed at the start of the map after you initially set it so, and thus solve the problem you posted in this thread.

You can Set its speed before starting the Map, You can VS Computers and such just like you normally would, And your already playing by yourself in single player x_x,

Also, Just buy the game Legit, And your Bnet problems will be fixed :O.

I reccomend going to Blizzards Store/Site thing, And making a account, and then go to your account, and go to "My Games" or something, and click Add, And add your Starcraft to your account, They will give you a new CD key, And a Download to SC+BW any time you want, And you can never lose it, since you can just log on, get your cd key, and Dl :O.
