I searched through the wiki +Tutorials

Can I force computer AI to upgrade Techs? Namely, any speed upgrade for any unit. (Preferably the vulture)
And I need to do this in a certain time in the game...

None.

And why might you need the speed upgrade at a certain time, I think there's an AI script for upgrades.

For a Difficulty Increase in My Map.

Can't we have a computer thats prone to Tech Upgrading?
Like, Run an AI Script for an insane computer, give them the resources and a building to upgrade the tech (IE: Machine Shop)???
Is there a way to do something like this?

EDIT- oh, Let me check for Script Upgrades

EDIT #2 - Nope, No AI For Tech Upgrading.

None.

Maybe just use a hero. Raynor has auto-upgrades. Just as soon as the trigger is always centered on the vultures, then when they reach the point where difficulty increases, either use a trigger or Death Counter to switch over all the vultures to Raynors. Hypertriggers recommended. O.o

I'm already using the Heroes on what I can. Raynor doesn't have auto speed. I'm working on test maps to see how prone a Computer AI is to upgrade vults, and I'm testing if Giving transfers speed upgrades

Like, Fenix and Torrasque have speed, Raynor doesn't. I'm already using the heroes, but I need raynor to have speed too.

EDIT:
Ok, I figured out that Giving Transfers Speed Upgrades.
Someone should make a wiki on this, About Which heroes have the upgrades and which don't... I suppose I will soon.
ANd a Tutorial On How to Force Computers to upgrade, Because I know that if a Computer player has X Units of that type, and all of the Tech tree and stuff, and a stable base, It will research it...

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

Heroes have all upgrades/research associated with the base unit, always, by default, unless it is disabled. It seems there is ONE exception, and that is mr raynor's vulture. He still has spider mines, though.

The only way to get computers to upgrade is using an AI. Little research has been done. They will not upgrade past level 3.

Any nonweapon/armor research/upgrade is automatically given to the player if a unit which has the research researched is mind controlled or given to the player via triggers. If you have a player who has cloaking researched, and you want another player to get that research, just give the wraith to the player, then give it back. Now that player has cloaking field for the wraith.

If you're also looking for ways to upgrade weapons/armor for computers this might interest you.

Just a thought, you could have two computers. One has speed upgrade disable, and one has it researched in the tech settings menu. When you want the difficulty to increase, give all units from the first computer to the second. You can even set them to the same color to prevent confusion for the players.

That's a waste. Just give them to a temporary player that has it researched and back. Can even be a neutral player.

The multiple computer method makes sense for upgrades (weapon/armor) however.

can even be the player.

However, I don't think you can disable upgrades, only research. I think if you gain control of a speed upped ling, even if your max level for speed is 0, you still get the upgrade.
