I cant seem to find a partner thats not a noob. They are always either cocky about how good they are, or lack basic knowledge and cant really help effectively. Alas I am still hoping someone wont be a jackass!

Heres the basic rundown of my map

The map is called "Elder Scroll RPG"

Here is a screenshot of the layout, which you can see in the top left corner!

This rpg is quest based, hack n slash and features a skill tree and a dropship spellcasting system, Item equipper, shops, random item drops, money, MP, 6 spells per class, 2 classes(mage, warrior)

The story goes like this:

Long ago, when the world of Hyman was young, there lived 3 wise mages who were respected throughout the lands. Before their death the 3 mages decided to preserve their powers inside a magical scroll that would protect the world of Hyman from the Dark Mage, Genbu who lived in the mountains of Helix to the east. The scroll, once imbued with the power of the 3 mages, was then entrusted into the hands of a young king, his name was Hyman II.

Many centuries pass as the scroll was passed down from generation to generation of kings. The world of Hyman is now in the 10th Era of the Scroll.

A cloaked figure has appeared at the castle, the guards try to stop him, but are easily destroyed. Shortly afterwards the king is found murdered in his chambers and the Elder Scroll has turned up missing. The queen knows exactly what has happened and must seek help for the fate of her kingdom. The world of Hyman has fallen into darkness and only those trusted by the queen can return the scroll to its rightful place..

If you have knowledge of triggers, and pretty decent knowledge, i'd like your assistance, as the trigger work in the map is too heavy for me. I don't have the drive to finish it alone + I would like input from a partner so the map can turn out better. I wont finish it alone so if interested, comment or something :P

I did warn you. Partnering in a map is an easy way for it to die. Splitting the work practically is also a challenge, and even moreso is trying to connect that work together. Unless the map idea is an original accumulation of both minds, I doubt anyone of sufficient time and skill will have the same motivation. If one partner loses motivation, so often goes the other's.

If you do find someone willing, props to you.

But in the mean time,
"If you want something done right, do it yourself"

Just here for the pie

You've made four topics requesting a partner for your map, just do it yourself as Kaias said. I know it's a "huge workload" but you'll find it easier to trigger everything yourself because you know exactly what you want. Also, don't plan too much things ahead of time, work at a pace comfortable for you and do one thing at a time.

Realistically, if you've created 4 topics, and nobody has partnered with you yet, I don't think anybody is going to.

The first thing that usually comes to mind when people want a partner is that the person is just too lazy to do any work. If the workload is too much for you or you don't even have the motivation to work on it, why are you even making the map? I can understand getting input, but to actually have that person do triggers is just a sign of laziness or incompetence. To be honest though, I do not see how such a simple map would even need a team of people.
